2018 November Our House Maintenance Report

ACHIEVED
 Fixed the chimney and put a cap on the top. It turns out the falling bricks and
mortar was from a divider at the top of the chimney between an old unused vent
from the kitchen and the fireplace chimney. This is not supporting anything and
is not structural. (Brandon Pinkham)
 Replaced 32 boards on boardwalk (Draper, Olsen, Millet)
 One set of windows replaced on south side of Kip’s room (Richard)
 Windows in Gully scraped, glazed, painted and primed (Kim, David, and Robin)
 Cleaned and scraped gulley, painted green trim around gulley windows (Peter)
 Replace flush valve in Bear’s bathroom (Kim and David)
 Repaired leak in the pipe connection from the tank to the bowl in the 2nd floor
main bathroom (Kim and David)
 Clamped down foot of toilet in tool room so toilet would not rock and it would
leak less, fingers crossed, keep checking container on floor behind toilet. (Kim
and David)
 Removed threshold into Bear’s bathroom and between dining room and kitchen

 Hung cedar bench on south side (Kim and David)
 Fixed broken window in Master bedroom (David)

 South side Kip's room, touch up green trim near roof, storm guard over windows, lattice
 "Our house" sign steps - Risers need second coat
 West side, Best Western and Dee's room, outside windows pay $550 per window set and
$200 per set to install and glaze (Richard quoted)
 West side replace roof (Richard qouted)
 West side, green trim around windows and gutter scrape and paint on second floor
 talk to Richard about weather guards over Elly's windows, Elly's windows are leaking.
 Coat top of any posts with a Thompson's water sealer.
 Apply Thompson's water seal board and baton

INTERIOR -

 tower, inside is scraped needs to be painted

 Nursery – Paint interior windows
 Back hall - paint west windows- inside
 Paint screen for pool room

 Weld stork lifted leg back on (Cope)
 Make West side swinging gate (David & Kim)
 replace second window on south side of Kip's bedroom (Richard quoted)
 1st floor porch banister has many rotten supporting cedar posts
 fix walkway on south side ( Kim and David will try a Jack to level )
