Introducción
If we take into account within these definitions the aspects related to quality,
operation and control, it becomes clear and necessary that the industrial engineer
has and applies concepts related to the way in which the productive processes are
measured and controlled and given product conformity. To respond to these
needs, during the training of the industrial engineer, it is necessary that the future
professional acquires and applies knowledge related to the mathematics applied
for the development and management of the corresponding processes, within the
emphasis of knowledge are one of the branches of mathematics, which is called
Integral Calculus is mainly used for the calculation of areas and volumes of regions
and solids of revolution, was used in times past by scientists such as Archimedes,
René Descartes, Isaac Newton, Gottfried Leibniz and Isaac Barrow.
Although it is not an everyday tool of the Industrial Engineer, it was found that
through the defined integrals, problems can be solved in the everyday
environment, in addition it has a wide scope, the Integral Calculation has
applications in the development of some models and industrial processes that
generate development and improvements within an industry or environment, for
which the formulation of integrals is essential. The application of these models
ranges from plant distribution, to purchasing planning, statistical systems, inventory
solutions and mass production processes. Integration is a very important
calculation tool, it not only serves to determine areas in flat and curved regions,
and represent physical quantities. Its real application is currently the applications in
the Administration and the Economy, as well as determining inequality coefficients
for income distribution.

Estos son:
𝑼𝒙 = 𝑰 𝒙 − 𝑪𝒙
𝑈𝑥 = ∫ 𝑈𝑥′
𝐼𝑥 = ∫ 𝐼𝑥′
𝐶𝑥 = ∫ 𝐶𝑥′
Dónde:
𝑖𝑡 = 𝐾𝑡 + 𝐶
𝑖𝑡 𝑒𝑠 𝑒𝑙 𝑓𝑙𝑢𝑗𝑜 𝑑𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖ó𝑛
Solución:
𝑥32
= 4𝑥 + 10𝑥 − + 𝐶

Reemplazamos la cantidad de vehículos y valor de C.

𝐼8 = 4(8) + 10(8)2 − + 40

1624
= = 541.33

Traducido a unidades monetarias tenemos que el ingreso total si se venden 8
automóviles es de $541330000.
Solución:
𝐶𝑥 = ∫(12 − 4𝑥 + 𝑥 2 )𝑑𝑥
𝑥32
= 12𝑥 − 2𝑥 + + 𝐶
3
Reemplazamos la cantidad de vehículos y valor de C.

2
𝐶8 = 12(8) − 2(8) − + 130

806
= = 268.67
3
Traducido a unidades monetarias tenemos que el costo total si se venden 8
automóviles es de $268670000.
c. La utilidad total.
Solución:
𝑈𝑥 = 𝐼𝑥 − 𝐶𝑥
𝑈𝑥 = 541330000 − 268670000
𝑈𝑥 = 272660000
