Neimans Neiman's Family Market announced today that it has reached an agreement with Rite Aid Pharmacy to transfer the pharmacy business at its Alpena and Tawas stores, effective September 5th. Neiman’s Family Market has been serving the Alpena area for many years. Neiman’s Family Market will continue to provide the Alpena and Tawas communities with grocery service. Rite Aid is working closely with Neiman’s Family Market to ensure that the transition is seamless for patients and their access to pharmacy care is not interrupted. All pharmacy files and pharmacy inventory will be transferred confidentially to the nearest Rite Aid Pharmacy location. In Alpena, the Rite Aid Pharmacy is located at 2140 U.S. 23 South, which is right across the road from the Neiman’s store. In Tawas, the Rite Aid Pharmacy is located at 211 W. Lake Street, just down the road from the Neiman’s store.
