The Bodyguards BioGard Cut Resistant Glove takes cut resistant knife hand gloves for the food industry to the next level. Not
only do they achieve level 5 cut resistance when tested to EN388 but they are launderable at very high temperatures, ensuring
the maximum removal of materials from the glove after use.
A significant new development is the inclusion of a permanent antimicrobial component to effectively control the bacteria that
can cause malodours. Available in two colours white and blue and individually piece packed to ensure maximum hygiene standards
are maintained.
The antimicrobial properties of the gloves are engineered using advanced nanotechnology. Silver ion nano particles are
uniformly encapsulated within the fibre structure providing durable performance after multiple wash cycles, unlike other
traditional antimicrobial surface finishes.
The powerful antimicrobial action of silver combats bacteria that come into contact with the glove. According to test method JIS
1902 conducted at the Hohenstein Institute, the bacteriostatic performance is rated as ‘STRONG after 50 washes.’

The Bodyguards series of EN149:2001 approved respirators have been tested to meet the Dolomite clogging test* for enhanced
breathability. These respirators are intended for use by any professional requiring higher particle filtration efficiencies than that
which is provided by standard pleated masks. Bodyguards Respirators offer dust, mist and fume protection, making them suitable for
both Healthcare and Industrial professionals.
During aerosol-generating procedures there must be minimal particulate respirator face-seal leakage to fully protect Healthcare
Workers from exposure to small particle respiratory aerosols. The following respiratory protection options should be considered:
• A particulate respirator at least as protective as a NIOSH-certified N95, EU FFP2 or equivalent is the minimum level of
respiratory protection required for workers performing aerosol-generating procedures.
• Appropriate procedures should be performed each time a disposable particulate respirator is worn before entering the
isolation room/area.
