    Responsibility for maintenance of Departmental Laboratories

    The following faculty members shall be primarily responsible for maintenance and up-
    keeping of the Departmental Laboratories. The responsibility includes:

    (1) Keeping the inventory of the equipment/ components/ accessories and software
    licenses etc. in the respective lab and ensuring their availability.
    (2) Renewal of software licenses and periodic maintenance contract of equipment.
    (3) To assist in addition or alterations of Lab experiments time to time along with
    preparation/ updation of manuals.
    (4) Ensuring the lab is kept clean and tidy always.
    (5) Reporting about the equipments, which are malfunctioning and arranging for their
    repair.
    (6) Overall upgradation / modernization of the lab from time to time.
    (7) To ensure proper electrical connections/ furnitures/ flooring etc.
    (8) To display relevant documents like list of experiments, assessment sheet, course
    profile, lab time table and name of lab in-charges on the notice boards inside the Lab.
