Purpose To assist the Pastor and Elders in meeting

the spiritual and physical needs of the

church

Accountability To the Head Deaconess & Team Leader

Responsibilities
DEACONESS

1. Assists in Ordinances of Humility,

communion, and baptisms. Set up and
preparing juice/bread. Washing towels
after communion.
2. Assists church families during times of
bereavement and other emergencies with
food and other services. Kitchen cleaning:
sweeping, mopping, dish towels, etc.
during week.
3. Helps with care and maintenance of
Church facilities
4. Performs other duties as may be assigned
by Head Deaconess
5. Assists in the set up of potluck and
preparation of food to serve.
6. Assists on visitation as needed.
