R&D Process:
1. Once the portfolio to be registered is defined, it must be verified that there are import requirements in force between both
countries and that there are no raw materials not allowed. For example, in the case of Colombia, products of Lamb origin from
Brazil cannot be registered.
2. Validated that there are requirements for import between both countries, the process of requesting documents for the
registration process begins.

3. Once we receive the drafts of the documentation, a preliminary review of it is made and comments are sent.
4. Once all the complete documentation is received, money is requested for the payment of official rates.
5. While the payment is received, the dossier is organized to present to the ICA
6. Once the payment is made, the registration application is submitted to the ICA.

8. If the ICA issues requirements and it is necessary to request them from the manufacturer, the information is requested, the
response is prepared and submitted to the ICA.
The licensing process can take up to 4 months from the filing of all documentation.
This project was submitted through maquila (Supplementary Adhesive), which means that only legal information established
in Resolution 1056 of 1996 was presented, without presenting claims. At the time you want to present harmonized art for
marketing, you must start the process.
