WIVAA (Wedding Info Virtual and Augmented Reality Application)

An android based virtual and augmented reality application that is centralizing all wedding
halls and vendors to book online for customers, Design Wedding Card, Augment 3D Stages
with real-time customization, allow users to make virtual tour of Hall.

The team
A team of three passionate developers worked on different real-time problems and converted them into
software’s. We are class fellows as well as roommates. We have good understanding and we know how to handle
each other together. We know how to divide work based on our strength and weaknesses. We won 1st prize at
COMSATS projects & career EXPO event held at COMSATS University Islamabad and then we decided to present
our project in IMAGINE CUP.

The Concept
Marriage ceremony is a very important event in one’s life and it is difficult to manage this great event properly.
Searching a suitable marriage hall according to people need takes too much time and cost. On the other hand
people want to hire different vendors that take too much cost. Another big problem is selecting a beautiful stage
of customer’s own choice. Peoples spend too much cost on designing wedding cards from a card designer in
order to send invitation to their relatives. We are developing the proposed system to overcome all the discussed
problems.

A lot of applications are already developed to find a best marriage hall. Normally, such applications cannot present
the user to see the complete view of the hall. User needs dedicated time to visit wedding halls and finalize them
and they also require cost for card designing and printing. These applications provide no mechanism to design
marriage cards and view stages and also didn’t facilitate the user to send invitations to their relatives. These
applications didn’t inform the user about weather before ceremony. These applications didn’t provide vendors
and also didn’t request feedback and rating after Ceremony of a specific Wedding Hall.

WIVAA is an android based virtual and argument reality smart phone application that provides solution to the
problems defined in the problem statement section. This application allows the user to search for the hall after
selecting specific parameters like Capacity, home location, budget, number of sub halls, and get the details of the
selected hall. User can watch the 360 images and can also make a virtual tour. Using WIVAA user can design the
“Wedding Invitation Cards” by selecting from available templates. User can see the real view of wedding stage in
augmented form before actual event to get real feel. Guidelines also be provided. User can also send “Wedding
Invitation Cards” to their guests including marriage hall location. WIVAA notify the user about weather conditions
before 4 days of ceremony. WIVAA facilitates the user to contact with vendors to reserve Cars, Hire Photographer
and Movie Maker for Ceremony. After Ceremony Manager of specific Wedding Hall sends a “Thank You” note
and request feedback for further improvements. User can rate the Wedding Hall after ceremony.

WIVAA’s target audience are all those people who want to celebrate their wedding events as well as all wedding
halls and vendor service owner’s. Target platform and geography is all world

How it works:
Following is architecture diagram of WIVAA:

WIVAA will consist of four types of user roles such as Visitor, Customer, Hall Manager and Vendor. Visitors will
be able to see the best rated wedding halls on the main menu based on current location. Visitors can search for
the hall after selecting specific parameters like number of persons, home location, budget, number of sub halls
etc. They can also view the wedding Hall photos, location, travelling distance and time to reach at the selected
wedding hall. Visitor will be able to view the 360 interior and exterior image of the hall and make a virtual tour.
Furthermore, they can view the hall reviews and ratings. In addition to visitor will be able to view the Vendors by
its category. Also visitor can view all the provided details of a specific Vendor.

Customer is second type of user. Customer holds access beyond the visitor. In addition to that Customers will
be able to add wedding hall into favorite. Furthermore they will be able to book a Wedding Hall. After
confirmation of booking by hall manager customer will be able to do payment manually. WIVAA will facilitate
the user to view the stage design in augmented form to get the real feel. This application will also aid the
customer to design the wedding card. Guideline will be provided to user for design card and stage
augmentation.

Customers will be able to invite their relatives/guests by sharing Wedding Card via Social Media. Application
will notify the customer to visit the wedding hall manually. Moreover customer will be able to view the weather
report before 4 days the event.

Hall managers will be able to upload several details of wedding hall such as photos, person’s capacity, no of sub
halls, package details. Also they will be able to accept and reject booking of the wedding halls. Application will
allow Managers to view monthly booking record. After ceremony thank you note will be sent to the customer
and ask the customer to give reviews to the wedding hall.

WIVAA provides different type of Vendors like Car renting, Photographer and Movie maker. WIVVA provide the
admin panel functionality also.

WIVAA have much innovation in technical design and implementation also have the innovation in user
experience as application grows it will be more interactive and user friendly.

The Business Plan:
We are providing one-month free trial period to access all the features of WIVAA like Hall Managers and Vendors
option. We are providing Web Application, Android, and IOS Application with 24/7 running services. After
Expiration of trial period, we will facilitate user with three packages including (Monthly, 6 Months, and Yearly).
Monthly Packages costs Rs1500/-, six Months Package costs Rs5000/-, and Yearly package costs Rs10000/-. After
establishing business, we will charge 1% of every booking.
Competition:
Currently there is no such application where users can book wedding hall online, design a wedding card, make
virtual tour of halls, augment 3D stages and hire different vendors. Few applications exist to find marriage hall
and book halls. There is no mechanism to design marriage cards and augment 3D stages in those applications.
For example, like "Wedding Planner”, have no online booking, wedding card design and 3D stage augmentation.
WIVAA centralized Pakistan’s wedding halls and different vendors services with these features at one place like
(online booking of Wedding halls and different vendors, make virtual tour of halls, augment 3D stages and
customize it and design wedding card). Wedding Planner only has mobile application with limited features. WIVAA
has Web Application, Android, and IOS Application as well.
