GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
 All schools should report at the reception by 8:00 am on 30th October 2018.
 Last date for registration is 22nd October, 2018.
 All students are required to carry their School ID cards.
 No student can participate in more than 2 events in the fest.
 In case of change of participants in any event, please inform at least a day in advance.
 Please ensure that there is one teacher to accompany the students.
 The participants are requested to go through the event instructions provided on our
websitehttp://www.battleoftitans.org for further updates and prepare accordingly.
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
 Host school will participate as a non-competitive team.
 The prize winning schools have to be present during prize distribution ceremony to
collect the prizes.

Classes: 11 & 12
No. of Participants : 2
 Games will be declared on the spot.
 Quick eliminations will be done in the PC round. At the end of the rounds, the top 8 gamers
will move on.
 Round 2 will be knockout, 4 gamers will proceed to Round 3.
 All participants can bring their own headphones and mouse for the PC round. PS controllers
will be provided. However, Players can bring their own PS controllers.
 Round 3 will see the winners of Round 2 competing in another knockout round for the 2 spots
in the Finals.
 Round 3 and Finals will be on PS4.

MOVIEMAKING

MOVIE MAKING
Classes: 9 - 12

Topic : Any one of the following
1. Lack of Value Education
2. Pros and Cons of Social Media
3. Humanity

 Students have to make a video on the given topic.

 Time limit for each video is 3 - 5 minutes.
 The participants should send the video on bot@mayoornoida.com. Late entries will not be
accepted. Movie should be in proper format.(It should be compatible with VLC Media Player or
Windows Media player)
 Top 6 Videos will be selected and participants will have to come to the event to present their
videos. The names of the selected schools will be posted on BOT website & Facebook page.

 Software used will be MS Paint version 6.1 and MS PowerPoint 2010.
 The participants will be narrated a story on the spot.
 Students will have to make three different pictures depicting different
scenes from the story narrated in MS Paint.
 They will use these pictures in their PowerPoint presentation.
 Students should know how to use Action Buttons in PowerPoint.
 Rest of the instructions will be given on the spot.
Time Allotted: 1 hour 30 minutes

OPTIMUS PRIMITUS
MECHANICALLY. EFFECIENT

Robo-War : Two robots from two different team will be facing each other. In this, one should defend
and attack other taking care of fence around. The Robot body should not cross the fence.
Classes: Open
No. of Participants: 2
Rules:
 The robot fully crossing the fence shall be considered disqualified and the one successful in
defending and protecting their robot will be the winner.
 No manual touches/handling will be allowed and hence the robot can be controlled with
manual switches (wire or wireless).
 Negative points are added in violation of any rule.
 Points will be distributed according to Design, Performance and discipline during the
competition.
  Decision of the judges will be final and binding. Class groups must be strictly followed.
 Maximum time to complete the task is 5 min.

Robot Specifications:
 The maximum dimension of robot should not exceed 25 x 25 x 25 cm in L x B x H
respectively.
 Power specification can be maximum of 12-36 volts. (In case if any team requires more than
24 volts than that team should carry their own adapters)
 The robot must not exceed 10 Kg in weight.

Weapon Systems:
 Robots can have any kind of magnetic weapons, cutters, flippers, saws, lifting devices,
spinning hammers etc. (if they qualify the criteria mentioned below) as weapons.
 Following weapons cannot be used :
1. Liquid projectiles(Foam, liquefied gases)
2. Any kinds of inflammable liquids
3. Weapons causing invisible damage. (Electrical weapons, RF Jamming weapons and
others).
 Spinning Weapons must come to a full stop within 60 seconds of the power being removed
using a self-contained braking system.
Judgment Criteria
The teams would be judged on the basis of the following:

- Originality of solution

 Students will bring the .psd file and reference images used and give a presentation on the
details of the making.
 Students will make the composition on the given topic in Adobe Photoshop CS6.

 They will be given a maximum of 2 minutes to speak on their character.
 Kindly arrange props which can be handled by the participants.

 The event will consist of two rounds – Prelims will be online ( refer facebook page for
dates) and finals.
 6 finalists would be selected from prelims and will be informed.

LINE FOLLOWER

The challenge is to build a Line Follower Robot, which is capable of following line path which is
produced in front of it in minimum possible time and there will be a Quiz Round after the
competition where students need to explain the algorithm as well.
Classes: Open
No. of Participants: 2 (Max.)
Rules:
 No external power supply will be provided.
 Penalty of negative 10 sec will be imposed on every touch.
 Maximum time to complete the task is 5 min including 2 min of calibration.
 Readymade kits are not allowed.
  The teams must bring their fully assembled robot according to their specifications,
exceeding the specifications will lead to deduction of points.
 All the teams are required to bring their own arrangements for supplying power to their
robots.
 The code has to be submitted to the judges on event day.

ARENA

Robot Specifications:
 The maximum dimension of robot can be 25 x 25 x 25 cm in L x B x H respectively.
 The robot must not exceed 5 Kg in weight.
 The robot should be autonomous.
 The voltage and current limits for the robot will be 12V, 2 AMP Max.
 During competition, two persons will be allowed in the Arena.
Judgment Criteria:
The teams would be judged on the basis of the following:
-Time taken to complete the arena
-Points collected at each checkpoint
- Design of the robot and code
