Bands get Together

With great local bands and concert venues, Philadelphia
has been recognized as one of the top places in the country for
live music. The Philly Music Fest, Sept. 25–28, celebrates the City
of Brotherly Love’s heralded music scene by showcasing local and
national artists at three independent venues. This year’s lineup of
more than 20 musical performances at Milkboy, Johnny Brenda’s
and World Cafe Live offers styles such as rock, jazz, hip-hop, punk
and bluegrass. Performers include the experimental pop group
Man Man and rock bands Ceramic Animal, Restorations and Speedy
