With the arrival of the digital revolution there were many changes in the modern
economy. Large and small companies have more agility in their processes, making
everything easier and faster which results in the competition for being the best being
increasingly demanding where creativity and innovation play an important role in the
race for be the best, changing cultural trends, causing people to change their lifestyle
habits for the instant gratification offered by this new modern model. It is possible to
notice a blurred line between the markets of products and services. The creation of
value and innovation are decisive to make the products attractive to the consumer.
Digital technologies are general purpose and have the ability to transform economies
very deeply as some industrial advances have done in the past. Those companies
that take time to digitalize may be left behind as is the case of European companies
that 41% have not been able to adapt and only 2% take full advantage of digitization,
which has created an obstacle to the growth of productivity in Europe affecting
manufacturing and services alike. The EU is beginning to face this challenge by
prioritizing areas where competitive advantages can be obtained, fostering in
companies the use of viable digital technology through different methods of
sustained innovation. As it is the case of the cars that with their new technologies
have revolutionized the automotive industry that with the arrival to market of the
Tesla company that has demonstrated everything that can be achieved with its cars
that are executed by means of microprocessors and millions of lines of software
code. In the future it is likely that a car is a combination of a mobile office.

The world economy has undergone great changes with the arrival of the information
age, making this a modern economy that advances at dramatically surprising
speeds, changing its past nature to one of more agility. Where innovation, ingenuity
and the acquisition of skills are the points in which companies are supported whether
large or small, making the competition is increasingly strong, where those companies
that do not manage to adapt in time to digitalization in their processes, they will suffer
the impact of the new economy that may end up defining their future in the market.
These changes can also be evidenced in people who have already been changing
their habits and cultural habits for another where everything is easy and just a click
from the living room of the house.

The modern economy is remodeled based on three factors: in the first instance, the
digital revolution that dramatically increases the flexibility and agility of the
companies achieving greater scope in large and small companies, giving rise to new
economic players such as micro-multinationals and globally digital companies.

race towards who is the best. Innovation, ingenuity and skills are what make the
difference in the modern economy. Third: by making everything easier for people,
there has been a change in cultural trends, where immediate satisfaction is
increasingly expected since everything can be achieved through their electronic
devices.
