4. AFTER YOUR SELECTION PRESS THE D-KEY

SYSTEM SOFTWARE TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO INSTALL. DO NOT TAKE SYSTEM

FLOPPY DISK OUT OF THE FLOPPY DRIVE WHILE THE GREEN LIGHT IS ON READING THE

FLOPPY DISK

AFTER THE MACHINE FINISHES READING THE FLOPPY DISK THE MACHINE WILL BEGIN

TO (BEEP). THIS MEANS THAT THERE IS NOT A SEWING PROGRAM IN THE MACHINES

MEMORY. TO STOP THE BEEPING PRESS THE C-KEY OR IF YOU HAVE A PROGRAMMING

PANEL YOU CAN PRESS THE ENTER KEY.

IF THERE IS A SEWING PROGRAM IN MEMORY, THE MACHINE (WILL NOT BEEP)

5. PRESS THE H-KEY

NOTE: IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE READING IN THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE, FOR EXAMPLE
SELECT THE WRONG MACHINE TYPE:
1. TURN OFF THE POWER
2. WITH THE SYSTEM DISK STILL IN THE FLOPPY DRIVE
3. PRESS AND HOLD THE F-KEY WHILE TURNING THE POWER ON
4. REPEAT STEPS 1 AND 2

AFTER SYSTEM SOFTWARE READ-IN IS COMPLETED, REMOVE THE SYSTEM


SOFTWARE DISK AND STORE IT IN A SAFE PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO READ THE
TEST PROGRAM FROM THE SYSTEM FLOPPY DISK

STEP 1

1. TURN OFF THE POWER AND INSERT THE SYSTEM FLOPPY DISK INTO DISK DRIVE

2. WHILE PRESSING AND HOLDING IN THE F-KEY TURN ON THE POWER (YOU CAN

RELEASE THE F-KEY AFTER YOU SEE THE GREEN LIGHT ON THE FLOPPY DRIVE COME ON)

THE HOME POSITION TO THE START POINT IF THE SEWING PROGRAM IS NOT MID-WAY

FINISHED SEWING AND TO THE END POINT IF THE SEWING PROGRAM IS PAST THE MID-WAY

YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT ONE OF THE LOWER SPEEDS AT THE START OF THE SEWING
PROGRAM TO HELP PICK UP THE BOBBIN THREAD.
THE TYPE OF MATERIAL AND THREAD BEING USED WILL USUALLY DETERMINE THIS.

POINT TO WHERE THE EXISTING RETURN FEED DATA MUST REMAIN THE SAME FOR THE
