CHOIR MINISTRY COVENANT

I, _____________________________________________, being a Choir Minister of Maasin fundamental Baptist Church,

do hereby pledge by the grace of God to observe the following:

1. Consider my individual participation as a way of expressing my love and gratitude to my Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
2. Endeavor to give my best, wholehearted and joyful contribution to the choir Ministry as demonstrated by the
following:
 I will be on time for the schedule rehearsals. Unless otherwise, uncontrolled circumstances take
place and hinder me from being prompt. During which, I will send word to the worship/ music
pastor or choir director.
 I will be present in each scheduled rehearsal. If ever I be absent. I will send word ahead of time that I
will not be able to come.
 I will give full attention during choir rehearsals and avoid such behavior as will disturb the
concentration of others or cause unnecessary delay in the learning of the song.
 I will not allow petty matters to distract or prevent me from fulfilling my duties.
 I will take good care of and return all music pieces and materials, knowing that they are property of
Maasin Fbc, through the provision of God.
 I will support, attend and participate schedule meetings/conferences/seminars or such activities of
the music/ worship department which are necessary to strengthen and enhance the music/worship
Ministries.
 I will willingly submit myself to the leadership of the Music/worship Pastor who operates under the
Authority of the senior Pastor.
3. Make a commitment to regularly pray for the Music and Worship Ministries of the church and all those involved
in it.
4. Personally approach the Music/ Music Pastor for any Honest, sincere and open suggestions, constructive
criticisms, opinions or feelings with regards to the ministry.
5. Give time to regular personal bible reading, meditation and prayer.
6. Depend on the Holy Spirit for the power and guidance in doing the ministry.
7. Live a life in a manner that will glorify My Lord and not bring Him shame and dishonor by my attitude, behavior
and conversation. This includes being separated from the world and being holy unto the Lord.
