Dear All Pilot,

“TAXI & TO LIGHTS” and “LANDING LIGHTS” Checks

Reason: To reduce the delay or cancelation of flight due to TAXI & TO LIGHTS and
LANDING LIGHTS not illuminate.

Before first flight of the day during day light:

• When at least one engine running (ACW available), set “ON” taxi and landing lights
and ask the Engineer to confirm that all lights are illuminated or, if not, which one is
not illuminate.

Last flight of the day:

• When at least one engine running (ACW available), set “ON” taxi and landing lights
and ask the Engineer to confirm that all lights are illuminated or, if not, which one is
not illuminate.

NOTE:
• For any discrepancy, check and apply the MEL: ATR 72-500/600 ATA 33-42-1; 33-
46-1 for dispatch.
• Fill in AFML if any discrepancy exists at the next main airport where Engineer
available.
• If the aircraft is scheduled for night flight, PIC to ensure and coordinate with Engineer
before dispatch that the landing light are serviceable. If any discrepancy apply the
MEL.
