First, I would like to thank my supervisor Anders Henten, who supported, guided and gave me
a valuable lessons during the process of writing the thesis. Special credit belongs to my parents
who mentally supported me to through my studies. Also I would like to salute to all of the
people who are involved in a development of Autonomous vehicles and related technology for
those cars. They are working towards more sustainable and secure transportation for our future
generations to come.

questionnaire. I am grateful for their time, support and their willingness to share information

4.1 Introduction

This chapter deals with the analysis, presentation of data and discussion of the results.

The data collected in this chapter was mainly analyzed mainly using content analysis,

descriptive statistics and factor analysis. A total of 37 questionnaires were distributed to

claim managers, underwriting managers, and IT managers of the 37 insurance companies

offering motor vehicle insurance cover.

4.2 Response Rate

Of the 37 questionnaires sent to the sampled subjects, 32 were filled and returned which

translate to 86% response rate. This response rate is above 70% hence considered to very

good according to Mugenda and Mugenda(1999).
