EMM 2019? Pope Francis has declared that October 2019 will be a Special month of prayer and action
to strengthen and grow God’s mission and the church.
It aims
1) To encourage Catholics into deeper relationship with Jesus through prayer.
2) To look to, and learn from, the actions and sacrifices of our saints, martyrs and living
missionaries.
3) To financially support overseas missions.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN From 1st August we ask individuals to use their social media profiles
(Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), to share their personal mission, using the hashtag
#MyMission #EMM2019.
#MyMission ask you to proudly let the world know how you, like missionaries overseas, are called to
reach out and share God’s love – watch this space.

In celebrating each other we carry each other – by being present to each other, by
encouraging each other and accepting each other, by willingly participating in each
other’s lives and burdens, by placing ourselves in each other’s place and living each
other’s experience, by taking pride in each other’s fruitfulness and taking joy in each
other’s joy. In celebrating each other we are like a mother carrying her child.

There is only one word that can serve as a

practical rule for our whole life – reciprocity.
