The People’s Republic of China informs the Embassy of the Republic of the
Philippines that in accordance with Article 23 of the Vienna Convention on Consular
Relations, the People’s Republic of China declares Ms. Erlinda F. Basilio, Philippine
Ambassador in Beijing, China, to be persona non grata. As such, he should depart
the Republic of China within 72 hours upon receipt of this diplomatic note.
