1. In the network shown in Fig. 1, the switch is moved from position 1 to Position 2 at
t = 0. Prior to t = 0, the circuit had been in steady state. Find out i1(t) and i2(t) after
the switch position changes to Position 2 at t = 0. The values of the batteries V1 and
V2 are V1 = 2 V, V2 = 3V; and the elements values are as follows: L = 1 H, C= 0.5 5
F, R1 = 0.5 Ω and R2 = 2 Ω.

2. For the circuit below in Fig. 2, the switch S1 has been closed for a long time
while switch S2 is open. Now switch S1 is opened and then at time t=0
switch S2 is closed. Determine the current i(t) as indicated. (Solve this
problem using both time domain classical differential equation)

3. For the transformer circuit shown in Fig. 3, the switch closes at t = 0. Find i1(t) and
i2(t). Assume zero initial energy.

In the series RLC circuit shown in Fig. 4, the applied voltage is v(t) = sin t for t > 0.
