I. Introduction

Most students, when they hear the word Rizal they

learn will say it over and over again but they have to

study it because it is a law. The call to this law is RA

1425 and the call is “Rizal Law”. It is important to study

Rizal because of his input towards the independence of

Philippines through his work. He chose to fight for his

country through the power of letters and knowledge. He

decided to improve on his studies to acquire knowledge.

His famous novels the “Noli Me Tangere” and “El

Filibusterismo” pointed out the issues that the true

citizens of Philippines face under Spanish rule and need

to take decisive action to liberate themselves from

oppression and the people decided to rise up and defend

their rights and freedom. We also need to study the life

Jose Rizal because of its outmost importance to the ideas

of freedom, nationalism, and patriotism.

Make difference- We need to be different because it can help us

not only for the sake of the country and for the nation.

Respect Women- Nonetheless, Rizal seemed to have carried the

lessons that his mother taught him throughout his life. As now,

we must respect all women in the right way. No matter how good or

bad it should be.

Know your History- we must know our history because we need to

understand the people in our society and how people and societies

lived and behaved in the past.

Be a Nation Builder- As now, we need to become a nation builder

because to improve ourselves in the right way for our country to

change.

Educate Yourself- We need to educate ourselves to learn more just

like Rizal who studied well and has come and fought our country

with his knowledge.

First of all, I can say that it is difficult to do but I

realized that Jose Rizal is often interpreted to mean that he is

not only a hero but a good man who has served our country and

protected us from the Spaniards. He is the one who proves that

there is no need for war. He does not allow the people to choose

to be slaves of the Spaniards. We are very grateful to Rizal for

having achieved independence. He sacrificed himself more in our

country. Because of his heroism the people of the Philippines are

respected for his heroism.
