ACADEMIC PROJECTS
 “Sperm cell integrity testing using image processing methods”:Development of algorithms for
automatic detection of degradation in sperm cells using Image Processing techniques.Shape
descriptors and K- means clustering algorithms are used to detect their fertility automatically. The
motility of sperm cells also has been accessed using Computer Vision Toolbox in MATLAB.
 “Designing of a Digital Goniometer”:*Development of a wearable Goniometer using flex sensors that
promotes the self- rehabilitation of the patients with joint replacement surgery. Also, the measured
data is transmitted via cloud to the physician’s mobile phone thereby updating them with patients’
recovery.

methods"in the 'NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCES IN COMPREHENSIVE BIOMEDICAL
ENGINEERING' organized by The Department Of Biomedical Engineering at PSG College of Technology,
Coimbatoreon 23rd and 24th March, 2018.

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappallion 18thFebruary, 2018.
