1.0 Introduction to the ESCDP Course:

The program offers you a total solution for maximizing your career potential through skills development programs
based on Industry needed skills and your natural abilities. Not only will this help to identify the skills that matter most
but allow you to track your skills improvement in real-time and while getting certified from world-renowned
universities. Certified Course in Employability Skills and Competency Development Program is developed based on
industry subject matter expertise, application-based skills, competency modeling, and academic framework.

1.1 About the Initiative:

In an initiative to revolutionise Education in India, the Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi gave a Clarion Call
to transform the nation into Digital India to reach out nooks and corners of the country in order to skilling the
enormous potential of Youth in India to face the stiff challenges of the contemporary world in the wake of
globalisation.

In synchrony with the visionary thought at the National perspective, the Andhra Pradesh, government
created Knowledge Mission as one of the Seven Missions to build a new State of Andhra Pradesh. One of the
objectives of Knowledge Mission is to build up the Core Competence in Students, Women and Men alike by
providing the Skill sets, sharpening their competence with a winning edge unfolding themselves with a quest to seek
success in newer horizons.

We took this call as a responsibility to start working in this direction.

1.2 Course Overview:

In 2017, as part of the academic developmental initiatives, ‘The JBIET Group of Educational Institutions and Bhaskar
Educational Institutions planned to implement ‘Life Skills & Employability Skills Training for Skill Development’ of
their B.Tech & Pharmacy students. We worked as Learning Consultants to design and develop an integrated 4-year
course and also to develop a certificate 'Faculty Development Program' (Train The Trainer) for the faculty of the
institutions. A total of 60 faculty were deployed, trained & certified as 'Life Skills Coach cum Employability Trainers'.

This 4-year course was presented to the MOOCS Director of Acharya Nagarjuna University and further submitted
for Board of Studies of the University Committee. The university was keen to take up an initiative of launching a
course for graduates to support them in their career aspirations.

One of the objectives of University Knowledge Mission is to build up the Core competence in Students, Women and
Men alike by providing the Skill sets, sharpening their competence with a winning edge unfolding themselves with a
quest to seek success in newer horizons.

1.3.Course Objectives:
This ESCDP course aims to empower the job aspirants with the skills that are not taught often in college education.
On one hand, it aims to build foundation in computer skills and communication skills. On the other hand, it strives to
inculcate values which help the learners advance in their chosen careers.

This program is designed for students pursuing graduation or post-graduation and or planning for a successful
professional career in the future. In the 21st century the need for skills and competencies in the business world has
increased drastically.

1.6. Course Duration:

The program is of 48 hrs with delivery or study duration 3 months in both online & offline modes whereas the
duration of courses with ‘contact classes & coaching’ are of 6 months. However, the student has the choice to
