I. Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. describe quackery and identify its three forms;
b. explain the nature and dangers of quackery; and
c. give advice on how to avoid fraudulent health services.

 Materials: videos, pictures, power point presentation,

 Recall of concepts from previous lessons

C. Motivation
 Processing Activity:
-video presentation about health fraud awareness.
 Let them observe every scene shown in the video and
ask questions after.
-Guide questions:
-What can you say about the video?

D. Presentation
 Present the topic through giving instances where quackery
is observed. (show pictures).
 Presentation of objectives

E. Discussion
 Let them describe quackery through the video they have
watched.
 Show the three forms of quackery.
Activity 1. Quack,Quack!
Study the pictures and identify what form of quackery
it is.

 Let the students think of the dangers of health quackery to one’s
life.
Activity 2. A Bad Quack (same group)
List down possible dangers of quackery to a person’s
