Calculating and analyzing the human population in limited

given terrain is termed as Demography. It is the statistics of the
population that is subjected to change in accordance with aging,
birth, death, migration religion etc. That aid in research to
understand information about the population, religion, language
and ethnicity of the place. The research use the tools like census
to gather information around the place. As we can see India
ranking 2nd among the world among vast population. The drastic
change in population after 1960s which led policy maker think
about new policy. The change in religious profile in Assam has
endangered the Indian regionalist.
Thus here, we are focusing on the Religious profile of Assam.
According to the studies the proportion of Indian r. has declined
from 84.55 percentage in 1901 to 65.38 in 2001. Proportion of
Muslims has correspondingly risen from 15.03 to 39.92 percent,
and that of Christians from 0.41 to 3.70 percent. The vast
decline in Indian R. occurred during 1921+ 1931 in the period
before independence. The decline of about 3 percentage points
that has taken place during the last decades is the largest since
then. The proportion of Christians in Assam has nearly doubled
since 1951. In Kokrajhar, Christian presence has risen to 9.82 to
13.72 percent during the last decades alone. Christian presence
has is now considerable in Goalpara (7.87 percent), Darrang
(6.47 percent), and Sonitpur (6.88 percent) districts of lower
Assam. In the hill district of karbi Anglong, proportion of
Christians are 26.68 percent. Their presence is rapidly rising in
the neighboring Sibsagar and Golghat districts also.
In Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta and Nalbari districts
of lower assan has seed decadal growth of Indian Religionists
during 1991 to 2001 has been less than 10 percent. Indian
regionalist has grown about 2.35 percent during last decade.
During the same decade Muslims growth in Bongaigaon has
been 31.84percent . 29.58 in dhubri and christains by 65.50
percent. In kokrajhar, muslim have grown by 19.15 percent and
Christians by 58.12 percent. In Barpeta, these two communities
have grown by 25.86 percent and 48.03 percent, and In Nalbari
by 25.23 and 68.29 percent, respectively. The situation in the
district mentioned here is the most acute, but similar situation
seems to exist in several other districts of the state. In these
district, the growth of Indian Religionists has been obviously
much below their natural growth and thus they have probably
forced to migrate out the these districts.
