B. Business Background

There is no denying it - Aussies love their chocolate.

More than half of Australia’s population consumes at least one chocolate bar in an average four-
week period, so it’s safe to say that we’re a nation of chocolate fans. One of the more recent
reports has us consuming some 32kg of chocolate per person per year.
Sydney may be the chocolate coffee capital of Australia, but when the temperature drops, there is
nothing better than a steaming cup of hot chocolate.
The business continues to survive and even grow until now because it is supported by the needs
and wants of the Australians or travellers who live or visit in this city area close to business
people, school children or citizen and tourist. Under these circumstances they try to capture the
same opportunity but with different products. Here they will try to channel their interest about
chocolate into a chocolate beverage product and present it to consumers. Coupled with the tastes
of people who generally like the taste of chocolate, they hope these things will be a multiplier
effect for their business.
