• Pakistani universities only. If also applying abroad, submit Forms1-3 for Applying Abroad.
• If applying to LUMS, please submit the LUMS Transcript and Teacher reference Request
WHY NOW?
Even though applications for local universities are not due until later on in the year, you should be investigating your
options now. Creating this list should serve as an impetus to get you thinking about your university plans, and as a
jumping off point for discussions with your college counsellor.
• Decide what you want to study. Then, for each possible course of study:
• Research which universities offer the major you desire, including information on:
o Tuition costs and availability of aid/scholarship
o University environment and student life
• Confirm deadlines and expected entrance test dates
• Research application procedures and requirements (Test? Interview? Equivalence certificate? References?)
o Know how to obtain and where and when to submit application forms.
oPlan how and when you will prepare for required entrance tests.
oMake sure you meet the requirements for the kind of equivalence cert you require, and make plans to
overcome any deficiency.
o Plan for required references. (LUMS references must be requested NOW!)

PAKISTANI UNIVERSITY LIST:
University Name – List the name of the university. If you will apply for more than one course at a university (for
example IBA Social Sciences and IBA Economics and Mathematics) list each separately.
Course – Write the name of the course (major) you intend to apply for.
Deadline – Write the deadlines to prove that you know what they are. You should know, for your own good. If
deadlines are not posted for the upcoming application cycle, then list the 2014 deadline.
