the Indian Army, or any other person in service of the Govt. I undertake and agree that
neither I nor my executive or administrative or other legal representative will make any claim
against the Govt or against any officer or any employee of the Indian Army or against any
person in the service of Govt in respect of any loss of injury to property or person including
injury resulting in death which the said minor may
suffer while the said minor/major is or in consequence of the said minor being so carried or
whilst he/she is boarding or alighting from the said transport and I understand and agree that
no compensation will be paid by the Government or by any office of the other ranks of any
pers in the Government service in respect of any such loss or injury and I further agree so as
to bind, myself hairs my executors and administrators to indemnity you and any officer or
other rank of employee of the Indian Army and any persons in the service of the Govt
against any claim which may be made by any third party against you or them or any arising
out of any act of default on the part of the said minor/major during or in connection with such
journey in the Indian Army Mechanical Transport.
It is further declared that the stamp duty payable on the undertaking shall be borne
by you.

MISUSE/WASTAGE OF ELECTRICITY
1. The following points observed by this office :-
(a) Numbers of lights/fittings/appliances are continuously remains switched ON

during day time at various locations in station units.
(b) Units have installed modified DG Set and connecting numbers of bldgs to it
through single phase cables due to which electric load on single phase increased.
This practice of connecting single phase in the system is causing short circuit in the system
and leading to damage the electric fittings.
(c) Units have taken numbers of electric connection without consideration of load
capacity of the system also.
2. The electricity bill and maint expdr of the sys is being increased due to above
mentioned points. These points may cause of short circuit and fire accident also.
3. In view of the above, It is requested to issue instructions to all stn units to avoid
tempering with electric system without consent of MES authorities and use the electric
supply judiciously.

1. It is intimated that rep of MAP has changed the phase in bldg No P-9, P-10 &
P-11 in ‘F’ Area on 23 Jan 18 due to which one phase became overloaded and the
under ground cable of size 50 Sqmm 4 Core approx length 300 RM has been
damaged/burnt. Presently temp arrangement for electric supply has been provided
to said accn.
2. It is requested to directe the contractor (MAP) to replace the said cable at the
earliest please.

DAMAGE TO WATER SUPPLY SOURCE AND PIPE LINES DUE

TO DEVASTATING FLOOD IN NEUGAL RIVER
1. It is intimated that MES water source at Neugal water head and water pipe lines have
been damaged badly due to cloud burst and flash flood on 23 Sep 2018. Whole water
source have been washed away alongwith 250mm dia pipe lines carrying water to Palampur
and Alhilal Mil Station. The work is under progress for restoring the water supply system
temporarily.
2. It is also intimated that approx 35 Lakhs of funds are required to re-instate the water
supply source and pipe lines permanently. Hence case may be taken up with higher
authorities to sanction a work under Para 35 (a) of DWP-2007, so that damaged caused to
water supply system due to devastating flood could be made good and water supply could
be restored at Palampur and Alhilal Mil Station.
3. In view of the above it is requested to inform all the units that only restricted water
supply shall be provided till the repairing of damage pipe line system.

no scope to change the route of pipe line during laying. Hence water pipe line was not as
per blue print of Stn. Therefore, it was a very little scope to shift the bldg due to fact
explained.
