The following agreement is provided by IMTF merely as a sample.

 It is up to the 
moviemaker (producer) and the actor to modify the agreement in a way that satisfies both
parties.

ACTOR EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (Release)

THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the following date____________ by 
and between ________________________ (hereinafter “Producer”) and 
_____________________________ (hereinafter “Actor”).

Producer intends to produce a motion picture trailer titled ___________________ 
(hereinafter the “Trailer”) intended for various purposes including—but not limited to—
entering the Lights! Cameraphone! Action! Contest, ,finding distributors for the as­yet­
to­be produced movie represented the the Trailer titled ________________ (hereinafter 
the “Movie”) and finding investors who will invest in the production of the Movie.

The Producer wishes to use the services of the Actor in connection with the production of
the Trailer upon the terms and conditions herein contained. Accordingly, it is agreed as 
follows:

1. ROLE: Producer hereby engages Actor to play a role in the Trailer.

2. SALARY: The Producer agrees to play Actor __________ for this work. (If there is no
payment enter $0.00 in the blank.)

3. TERM: The term of employment is expected to begin  on the following date 
____________ and end on the following date _____________________. But the Actor 
should know that changes in scheduling often occur in moviemaking.

4. WARDROBE: Actor will furnish the following items of clothing and accessories:

6. NAME AND LIKENESS: Producer shall have the right to use and to license the 
Actor’s name, sobriquet, photographic likeness, voice and/or caricature in connection 
with the Trailer.

7. INCLUSIVE PAYMENTS: All payments to Actor shall be deemed to be equitable and
inclusive remuneration for all services rendered by Actor in connection with the Trailer 
and to be paid as a complete buy­out of all rights granted to Producer hereunder. No 
further sums shall be payable to Actor by Producer by reason of the exploitation of the 
Trailer and all results and proceeds of Actor’s services in any and all media. 

8. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Player will receive all money due no later than at the end of 
the final day of shooting. 

9. FUTURE EMPLOYMENT: This agreement is for producing the Trailer only. 
Producer does not guarantee Actor a role in the Movie, nor does Actor agree hereunder to
take a role in the Movie. 

10. ARBITRATION: Any controversy or claim arising out of this agreement or any 
breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American
Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrators may be 
entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The prevailing party shall be entitled to 
reimbursement of costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The determination of the 
arbitrator in such proceeding shall be final, binding, and non­appealable.
