Forming the simple present tense There are only two basic forms for the simple present tense; one ends with -s and the other doesn't. Here are the rules, using the example verb "sing": Have and Has When we are talking about have, we have to use the conjugated forms whe we are using she, he, and it. With most verbs, the third person singular
form is created simply by adding -S. However, with some verbs, you need to add -ES or change the ending a little. At 3pm we have afternoon tea, and that is when we usually talk and eat cake. • When you are in the office you probably have a lot of papers. It is important for you to file your papers, and so that you can find them again you need to organize your files. When I work I have to make telephone calls. If an important issue happens I ask my secretary to organize a meeting. Once a month I report to my boss, but maybe you have to report to your boss more often. I usually write a document that my boss can read really quickly.
