TEST III:

A. Direction: Arrange and re-write the following items according to the correct procedure in
Shampooing (2 points each). Write your answer on the space below.

1. Rinse hair thoroughly


2. Hold the patron’s head with your left hand. Use your right hand to massage head, moving
from top to right ear to back of head and repeat the same massage to the right side in a
circular movement.
3. Perform the second application of conditioner with a circular movement.
4. Wet hair thoroughly with warm water spray that is held over the head. Shift the hand to
protect patron’s face and ears from the spray.
5. Dry excess water with towel
6. Pour liquid shampoo over the hair gradually. Starting at the front hairline.
7. Apply the shampoo carefully and avoid splashing into the eyes of the client.
8. Massage the shampoo on the hair and scalp in a continuous and steady circular motion
to achieve a soothing effect.
9. Rinse the hair thoroughly using the water spray. Be sure to protect the patron’s face.
10. Massage the head by working the fingertips and palms of both hands through the scalp
until they meet at the top of the head.
