Viswa Guru Bhagawan Sri Veda Vyasa

Kabir said: "If all the land were turned to paper and all the seas turned
to ink, and all the forests into pens to write with, they would still not
suffice to describe the greatness of the guru."
GURU PURNIMA
Guru Purnima is traditionally held to be Bhagawan Vyasa's birthday. Accord-
ing to the Indian calendar it falls on the 15th of the month of Ashada. Bha-
gawan Vyasa is called Veda Vyasa - or the Compiler of the Vedas. Bhagawan
Vyasa saw that, in the coming yugas, men would be of grosser mind and would
lack the ability to learn and retain all of the Vedas. So he compiled the Vedas
into four parts - the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Veda.
Furthermore he wrote the Puranas so that the common people could also
benefit from the knowledge of the Vedas - he conveyed the same spiritual
principles through the medium of stories and parables. He is also the author
of the Brahma Sutras - the quintessence of Vedanta. So it is but fitting that
his birthday is celebrated as Guru Purnima.
This day also heralds the coming of the life-giving rains, the monsoon season
in India. During this season, sannyasis traditionally stay at one place and en-
gage in scriptural studies and contemplation. This period is called the
Chaturmasya or literally the four months. Guru Purnima is the day from
which this period commences.
Guru Parampara
A lineage of Gurus and shishyas who themselves became Gurus, and that goes
back to time immemorial is known as the Guru Parampara. If we trace this
lineage to its source we find that Iswara Himself must have been the first
Guru.

In ancient India the Gurukula system of education prevailed. On reaching
the age of eight, children were sent to live in the ashrams of the Acharyas
in order to learn all the scriptures, arts and sciences. There were two types
of Acharyas. Vedavid - those who knew the Vedas; and Brahmavid - those
who knew Brahman. It is this latter type of Guru whom we refer to as Sat-
guru.
Then there are the Avatara Gurus who take birth at critical junctures in
history in order to redeem dharma (righteousness), and effect an all-round
spiritual renaissance. Like the sun in the sky, they illumine the whole world
with their blazing light of Divinity. On the threshold of a new millennium,
which is marked by rampant materialism, nihilism, and the dearth of love
among mankind. This embodiment of Divine Love and Grace, by giving initia-
tion to millions, has thrown open the gates of spirituality for all to enter.

Basic Significators
KP 1. A planet signifies the matter through the following three levels according
to the occupation and lordship of the houses:
for 1) The planet signifying the source of the matter;

2) The star lord of the planet revealing the nature of the results of the
matter;
Beginners 3) The sub lord of the planet showing as the deciding factor whether the
matter is favorable or not.
2. A star lord is stronger than a planet and a sub lord is more powerful than
Part 5 a star lord. KP is the sub lord theory, nothing else. The discovery of the in-
fluence of the sub lord has added a new dimension to the stellar astrology.
If the indication at the star level is general, the sub makes it specific. If a
Significators planet is in the star of the occupant of the 2nd house of finance, but in the
sub of occupant of the 12th house of loss, the result will be financial loss.
If the sub lord is a strong significator of 11th house of gain, it is the indi-
cation of financial gain. If the sub lord is a strong significator of 6th house
of loan, there will be financial gain through borrowing.
3. The sub lord is useful as the deciding factor in the following cases:
1) Whether a planet is auspicious or inauspicious for the house signified by
that planet according to the sub lord of that planet;
2) Whether the matter denoted by the house in question is promised or not
according to the cuspal sub lord of that house;
3) Whether the DBA lords are favorable or unfavorable for the event under
study as per their sub lords;
4) Which sub dasa would give the marriage and which sub dasa would cause
the divorce during the same dasa by only gleaning from the sub only in KP;
5) Whether a planet is the strong significator of the houses for which that
planet is the cuspal sublord depending on whether there is any planet in the
star of that planet;
6) What planets should be selected as the fruitful significators when the
planets are the significators of many or almost all houses.
4. The division of star, sub and sub-sub etc as dasa, bhukti, antara and sook-
shma was known before to find out the timing of an event only. Credit goes
to Guruji KSK for using these divisions up to the star and sub in the Hindu
astrology for the first time to examine whether the cusps and planets are
really fruitful or not.
5. Guruji KSK has provided his rasi chart together with the navamsa chart
side by side in the KP Reader III and the unprecedented 3-page detailed
table of navamsa calculation in the KP Reader I without applying the navamsa
anywhere. It is perhaps his expression of gratitude to the navamsa for giving
the idea of nakshatra navamsa or one-ninth division of the nakshatra in the

all three levels of planet, star and sub are to be jointly considered (like C.
R. Bhatt, K.M. Subramanium of Sub Lord Speaks, Kanak Bosmia, Umang
Taneja), for instance:

2) On the other hand, the houses signified in the first two levels cannot give
the desired results, if they are opposed by the sub signification. Here the
planet is rendered weak.
3) In some cases, the houses strongly signified at the sub level only, although
not signified in the first two levels, can give the desired results but with dif-
ficulty. The planet is supposed to be average.
Order of Significators
8. The order of significators from grade A to E preference is as follows:
A) Planets posited in the star of the occupant of the concerned house;

B) Occupant of the concerned house;
C) Planets posited in the star of the lord of the concerned house;
D) Lord of the concerned house;
E) Planets which are in conjunction with or aspected by the significators
(referring the Original Krishnamurti Padhdhati Vol. 2 <1966> pp 114, 118, 301,
303, 308; KP Reader III pp 342; IV pp 118, 128, 201; V pp 149, 201; VI pp
157, 197, 247).
9. Based on the logic of a star lord being stronger than a planet and the oc-
cupant in a house being stronger than the owner of the house:
A) A planet in the star of the occupant of a house is stronger than the oc-
cupant and the planet is the strongest grade A significator of the house oc-
cupied by its star lord;
B) If there is no planet in the star of the occupant, then the occupant, grade
B significator, becomes the strong grade A significator;
C) The planet in the star of the owner of a house, grade C significator, is
stronger than the owner, grade D significator, and if the house is vacant, i.e.
no grade A and B significators, then the planet of grade C significator be-
comes the strong grade A significator;
D) If the house is vacant, i.e. no grade A and B significators, and if there is
no planet in the star of the owner of the house, i.e. no grade C significator,
then the owner of the house of grade D significator becomes the strong
grade A significator of that house.
E) As the grade A significators are strongest, the weakest grade E signifi-
cators are generally applied as the last resort. In this regard, Guruji KSK has
encouraged to apply the Western aspects but not practically applied or ex-

M.P. Shanmugam’s view in Astrosecrets & KP Part 1 that when the outer plan-
ets (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) aspect the inner planets (Moon, Mercury, Venus),
the inner planets are subjected to the significations of the outer planets-
has been found working in some DBA analysis by Kanak Bosmia. In the exam-
ple chart, Jupiter aspects Moon and Moon has to give the results of Jupiter
as per KP signification. As another example; Moon has to give the results of
Mars in the case of Mars is in conj. with Moon.

11. For the row of Sun in the above Table 1, as per the cuspal positions of the
example chart, Sun is not the cuspal sub lord of any cusp and so there is no
cusp for Sun in the 1st column. From the planetary positions, Sun is in the
12th house (sigificator B) and does not own any house as no cusp falls in Leo
owned by Sun (blank significator D). The empty Leo is called the intercepted
sign. Sun is in the star of Venus and sub of Saturn. Venus is in 12th (signifi-
cator A) and lord of 1st house (significator C). Sun’s sub lord Saturn is in 6th
and lord of 10, 11th houses as shown in the last column. The sub lord does
not favor the matters of 12th house as the sub signifies 11th house (12th to
12th house).
12. Similarly, Moon is the sub lord of 7, 9th cusps in the 1st column. Moon is
in 10 (B), lord of 4,5 (D), in own star Moon in 10 (A), lord of 4,5 (C) and in the
sub of Mercury in 12, lord of 2,3,6 as shown in the Moon’s row. The 10th sig-
nification by Moon is strong with the support of 2, 6th signification by the
sub Mercury. Mars is in the sub lord of 1st cusp, in 1 by being close to the
1st cusp within 3° 20' orb (in 12 without applying the orb theory), lord of 7,
in the star and sub of Moon in 10, lord of 4,5, and so Mars is a strong signi-
ficator of 10th house. Mercury is the sub lord of 2nd cusp, in 12, lord of
2,3,6, in the star of Ketu in 4, also signifying 6,10,11,5 and in the sub of Sun
in 12. Thus Mercury is a strong significator of 12th house. Without having
any planet in its star, Jupiter is a self strong planet to give the strong po-
sitional signification of 12th house and the additional strong signification of
10th house by being the sub lord of 10th cusp. Saturn is strong to signify
6,10,11th houses by being in own sub.
13. For Rahu/Ketu, the computerized table of significators usually shows its
positional house and the houses occupied and owned by its star lord only. Its
signification as the agent of the planets is shown in the bracket and ex-
plained in the section of the Rahu/Ketu significators.
14. It can be found in the above Table 1 that the 1st house significators are
Saturn in grade A column, Mars in grade B column, Sun in grade C column and
Venus in grade D column and they are accordingly noted down in the Table 2
as shown below.

15. The 2nd house significators are none in A and B, Venus in C and Mercury
in D. The 3rd house significators are none in A and B, Venus in C and Mercury
in D, the same as for the 2nd house. Finally the 12th house significators are
Sun, Jupiter, Venus in A, Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus in B, none in C and
Jupiter, Rahu in D. According to the grading A to D, the order of the 12th
house significators is Sun, Jupituter, Venus, Mercury and Rahu but it will be
changed to the order of Jupiter, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Rahu, after taking
into consideration of the frequency in appearance. Moreover, the 12th sig-
nification of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and Rahu is in line with their sub sig-
nification of 12th house, and Sun’s signification is opposed by its sub
signification of 11th house (12th to 12th house). The grading of Rahu can be
moved ahead as per signification order by conjunction, aspect, star lord etc.
Rahu / Ketu Significators
16. Generally Rahu/Ketu indicates (in KP Readers and Bhatt’s Nakshatra

Chintamani):
1) Firstly, the results of planet with which it is conjoined;

2) If no planet is in conjunction, the results of planets aspecting it;
3) If neither is conjoined nor aspected, the results of the star in which
it is deposited;
4) Lastly, the result of the lord of the sign in which it is deposited.
17. In the review of the practical examples of Rahu/Ketu signification in the

KP Readers, the findings are as follows: (Details in Rhu/Ketu Rules in KP, KP
E-Zine, May 2007)
1) The Hindu aspects of house to house and conjunction in the same rasi
are used;
2) Aspect of Rahu/Ketu is not applied at all;
3) The importance of strong significators is considered whenever appropri
ate by taking into account of the occupation of star lord, Rahu/Ketu in
own star, Rahu/Ket having no planet in its star and the empty houses.
4) Although it is quoted "only when it is neither conjoined with, nor aspected
by any planet, it represents the sign lord" , whether Rahu/Ketu being in
position of planet or star lord or sub lord, the results of the followings
are taken into consideration depending on relevance to the matter under
consideration regardless of their sequence of preference:
(a) House occupied by Rahu/Ketu,

(b) Planet in conjunction with Rahu/Ketu,
(c) Planet in aspect to Rahu/Ketu, and
KP-Ezine (d) Star lord of Rahu/Ketu,

5) Rahu/Ketu as the agent of the planets in conjunction or aspect or sign
lord is supposed to give whatever the planet concerned is to signify (KP
Reader VI p 234) but only the houses occupied and owned by the planet are
commonly considered, and further results of the planet's star lord are
rarely considered.
18. In the attached example chart, Rahu is in 10, in the star of Moon in 10,
lord of 4,5 and in the sub of Jupiter in 12, lord of 8,9,12. Rahu acts as the
agent of Moon in 10, lord of 4,5 by conjunction; Jupiter in 12, lord of 8,9,12
by aspect and Saturn in 6, lord of 6,10,11 by sign lord of Capricorn. Rahu in
10, in the star of Moon in 10, lord of 4,5 and in the sub of Jupiter in 12, lord
of 8,9,12. So Rahu is the significator of 10,4,5,12,8,9,6,11 houses.
Cuspal Sub Lord Significator
19. It has been experienced (by Kuppu Ganapathi, Vaikari Ramamurthy, Kanak
Bosmia and others) that a planet having no planet in its star is a strong sig-
nificator of the houses for which it is a cuspal sub lord. It is the additional
significator to the basic and Rahu/Ketu signifiators.
20. In the attached example chart, Jupiter and Rahu do not have any planet
in their stars. So Jupiter is a strong significator of 10th house as it is the
sub lord of 10th cusp. It is additional to the Jupiter’s normal signification
of 12,8,9 houses as shown in the Table 1. Rahu is the sub lord of 4, 5, 11,
12th cusps to be a strong significator of these houses.
A Planet Close to the Next House Cusp
21. An experience of the orb theory (by K.S. Krishnamurti, K.M. Subrama-
nium, T. Rajendra Kumar, C.V. Tyagaraja Iyer, K. Subramaniam, Carl Woe-
bcke, Michael McClain, Chandrakant R. Bhatt, Anant Raichur, Sunil
Gondhalekar, Robert Hand in A Note on the Influence of a Planet near the
House Cusp, Astrovision, June 2008 ) is that a planet deposited close to the
next house cusp within 3° 20' orb can give the results of the next house, and
the planet is considered as if it is in the next house. The tighter an orb is
within 1°- 2 and no other planet is in the next house, the stronger the signi-
fication of the next house will be. This is not an additional significator but
a shift in the signification of a house from the previous house to the next
one.
22. If a planet is supposed to have influence on both the previous house, in

which the planet is physically posited, and the next house, to whose cusp the
planet is close, the results of the next house may not be effective as the
previous house is detrimental or Vyaya or negative to the matters of next
house. (KP Reader III, IV; Bhatt’s Nakshatra Chintamani)
23. In the attached example chart, Mars at 10° Ta 20' 25’’ is close to the
1st cusp at 11° Ta 43' 32’’ within the commonly used orb of 3° 20'. So, as
per the orb theory, it is to consider Mars as if it is in the 1st house, although
it is physically located in 12th house. Since it is very close to the 1st house
cusp within only 1° 23' orb and there is no planet in the 1st house, Mars will
give the results of the 1st house other than the matters of 12th house. If
Mars is supposed to give the results of both 12th and 1st houses, the results
of 1st house may not be effective as the 12th house is 12th or detrimental
or negative to the 1st house.

This is my Fourth article on Dictatorship to be examined as per my
Dictatorship Rules.
Short History of Zimbabwe :
Zimbabwe On 18 April 1980, the country attained recognition as an independent country

and along with it a new name, ZIMBABWE, a new Flag, and a Government led
by Robert Mugabe of ZANU. Canaan Banana served as the first President
with Mugabe as Prime Minister. In 1987, the Government amended the Con-
as per stitution to provide for an Executive President and abolished the Office of
Prime Minister. The constitutional changes went into effect on 1 January
1988, establishing Robert Mugabe as President.
KP Under the leadership of Mugabe, land issues, which the liberation movement
promised to solve, re-emerged as the vital issue in the 1990s. Beginning in
2000, Mugabe began an effort to redistribute land from white holders (pre-
Mundane dominantly large farms) to 250,000 Africans.

Zimbabwe is currently experiencing a hard currency shortage, which has led
to hyperinflation and chronic shortages in imported fuel and consumer goods.
View Mugabe's critics blame his programme of land reforms. However, Mugabe
claims that massive financial isolation through American, British and EU leg-
islation such as the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act
(ZDERA) of 2001 is the actual cause of hyperinflation. Under ZDERA, the
United States is prohibited from supporting any efforts by the Interna-
tional Monetary Fund and other financial institutions to extend loans, credit
or debt cancellation to the government of Zimbabwe. As Zimbabwe needs to
import all its energy, and oil is paid for in US dollars, this made the country
vulnerable to financial sanctions like ZDERA.
Zimbabwe's current economic and food crisis, described by some observers
as the country's worst humanitarian crisis since independence, has been at-
tributed, in varying degrees, to government economic mismanagement, gov-
ernment prohibitions on relief efforts from foreign NGOs (non-
governmental organizations), a drought affecting the entire region, and the
HIV/AIDS epidemic.

examples in history, in this line I will try to give my thought on this subject.
Rules:
1) If 8th Sublord (Secret work of enemy (in this case we can say opposition
party), signifies 5 (12th from 6 Dictator), 9th (12th from 10-Those in
Power), 12th (loss) Ruler face trouble and end of his Govt.
2) If 10th (Ruler) Signifies 2(Maraka), 7(Maraka), 12(Moksha) and Badhaka,

Ruler will end with death.( 2,7,12 from 10th are 11,4,9+Badhaka) )
Analysis:
8th and 10th sublord is Moon. Moon is in the own star and Rahu sub.
Moon is in 5, Lord of 7, Rahu is in 8, no planet in the star of Rahu and Rahu
is sublord of 4.Rahu Conj with Mar, Jup, Sat. Mar is in 8 within 3.33 deg orb,
lord of 4,11. Sat is in 8 lord of 1,2. Jup is in 8 lord of 3,12. No planet in the
star of Jup and Jup is sublord of 6,12.
8th sublord signifies 5 (12th from 6 Dictator), and 12(loss).
Opinion:
10th sublord signifies 4(Maraka),8(Badhaka), 11(Maraka) 5 (12th from 6 Dic-

tator), and 12(loss). and so there is Possibility of death of the present Dic-
tator as per Zimbabwe chart.
Is there any Election?
Recently Zimbabwe faced Elections, but as per media it was not a fair elec-
tion, so I will now go to check if there any Election in the near future? If so,
what is the outcome?
What will be outcome of Election?
Because of Elections recently concluded, I will not try to check 3rd sublord
but will check the current DBA to find out any chance of another election
and its outcome .

This article is in continuation to my earlier article regarding the job
Joining a prospects of the ward of my office colleague. In the first week of this
month, my colleague approached me and informed me about his child who had
cleared all level of interviews for another job opportunity and was to be in-
Job - terviewed at the final level and was expecting to join the job thereafter. He
wanted to know, if things would go well.
I casted the time chart as he approached me. Since, the query was meant for
a KP his child, I did rotate the chart to the 5th house.

The time chart was casted at July 07, 2008 at 17-51-06 Hrs IST’ at 12N51,
77E40. The rotated chart is presented herewith.
appraisal Coordinates of judgment:
• In a horary chart, lagna may be examined to indicate the resources avail-

able to the individual with respect to the query. In the present case, it could
be with respect to the professional prospects.
• The prospects relating to the profession in the natal chart are seen from
the 10th cusp, as this is where the karma yoga flows down in the native’s
life.
• Generally, the 6th cusp/house indicates the work/service or the job in par-
ticular. With the advent of various dashas, the suitability of the individual
to the job definition may be delineated.
• The 5th house has a peculiar functionality with respect to the karma yoga
seen from the 10th cusp. It is to be noted that the 5th house is 8th from
10th and thus represents the obstructions, which come on the way of pro-
fessional fructification. 5th house also supports power, position and recog-
nition in the work scenario.
The analysis of the chart:
A brief snapshot of analysis is presented herewith.
1. Examine Lagna and Moon
Sun gets the role as the sub-lord of lagna. Sun is powerful as there is no
planet in its star, thus its placement in the chart may be dominating. It is ob-
served that Sun is placed in 3rd house, which shows that the native was yet
pursuing the formalities to be completed for gaining the job. This was more
amply clear when the star lord of Sun was examined. Sun was in the star of
retro-Jupiter which was placed in 9th house as 9th lord. Thus, it was suffi-
cient to infer that there were some formalities pending from the employer’s
side and it was rightfully acknowledged by my colleague.
Look at the Moon which appears in 6th cusp showing mental concentration on
the job. Moon being strong is placed in 5th house which shows present un-
employment.
Hence, on the face value, the time horary chart looked genuine and it was
safe to proceed further.

star of Jupiter placed in 9th house, thus things were held up because of
communication from the employer’s side, perhaps the retro nature of
Jupiter was contributing to the delays and postponement.
The sub-lord of Venus was Moon placed in 5th house could point to the ob-
structions to the professional fructification (5th house being the 8th to
10th house). Here, Moon is a weak 5th lord as the 5th house is occupied by
a few planets, thus its placement in 5th house in the house of Sun (lagna
sub-lord) did show a positive flow of outcome even though substantial ob-
structions were on the way.
By the analysis of the 10th cusp, the job availability was reasonably certain
but with some delays and obstructions.
4. Examine 6th cusp for job
Saturn being the 6th cuspal sub-lord is a strong planet and strongly lords the
10th and 11th houses. The Saturn is yet more helpful to the fructification
of desires, as it lord the 11th cusp as well.
Saturn’s placement close to the 5th house (power, position and obstructions
to flow of karmas) actually makes it more benefic as the lord of the 10-11th
houses and thus Saturn was expected to bring a job to the native.
Saturn in the star of Ketu placed in 4th house did indicate the job to be lo-
cated in the local vicinity in the home-town and not far away. The Saturn in
its on sub was an asset to make Saturn’s fructification to its fullest.
5. Examine the 11th cusp for final overview of fructification
11th cusp is Saturn and all that said in the previous point gets validated again.
Thus, I was more than sure that the native would get the job under the in-
fluence of Saturn, though it could be late, as Saturn desires normally.
6. Examine the Dasha spread
Venus-Jupiter-Jupiter was running at the time of prashna and Saturn’s
pratyantara was to run from 25th July 25, 2008 which was the time of fruc-
tification.
Thus, it was communicated that the native would get the job on or after
25th July 2008.
7. Facts of the case
• The native was interviewed by the employer on Friday 18-07-2008 when
Moon was transiting in Sun’s star and Saturn’s sub. The interview went well.
• To my utter satisfaction, today (25th July 2008) when I am writing this
article, I was informed that the native joined the job

Q.1. How is Mr.N.S.K’s health condition?
KB System Lagna bhava sub lord is Venus. The Venus is in the star of sun and sub of
Saturn. The sun is the 7th bhava’s sub lord and Saturn is the 5 and 11th
bhava sub lords. The star and sub lord indicates the sole dependent bhavas
therefore it develop the Lagna.
So, the health condition, mostly, is so good in his life and the lagna bhava in-
terlinked with the 5, 7,11th bhavas and these bhavas are the 12th bhavas to
the 6, 8,12th bhavas. So, he will live with good healthy life in his whole life.
Particularly, this person will have good healthy condition in the Venus dasa
(which is lagna bhava sub lord) bhukthi period, which is connected with the
odd number bhavas.
In such a way the Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter is connected with the odd
number bhavas through it’s star and sub lord and it gives the favorable ben-
efit to the lagna.
The physical health will temporarily be affected while the dasa bhukthi pe-
riod, of the planet interlinked with the 6, 8, 12th bhavas. Here Rahu, Mars,
and Jupiter is the cuspal sub lord of 6, 8,12th bhavas.
If the above referred planets have a power only to give the 6,8,12 bhava
karaka benefits, when the planets interlinked with its favorable bhava
through its star lord and sub lord. If the planets are interlinked with its un-
favorable bhavas through its star lord and sub lord, they won’t give their
bhava karaka benefits and give the opposite benefits.
The 12 bhava sub lords will act or give the response upon the base of their
bhava and karaka through its star lord and sub lord.
A planet in the star of the particular bhava sub lord’s star lord and its sub
lord has a more power to do the particular bhava activities than the partic-
ular bhava sub lord.

Among the 4 planets, the Mars, Mercury are connected with the 6th bhava.
But these planets 6th bhava connection is not strong. The Moon is the quick
movable and not stable planet. So, the moon will change its response accord-
ing to the running dasa bhukthi. So, Rahu only give the unfavorable benefit
to the physical health.
Q.2. Is this person thinking about the sole related or material related?
The lagna bhava indicates the individual’s thinking and his basic some ideol-
ogy. Mostly, the thinking ideology will come out according to the inter linked
bhava karakas of the lagna bhava sub lord.
In this chart, the lagna sub lord inter linked with the 5, 7,11th bhavas.These
significance connected with the sole dependent karaka and he will think
about the sole and physical dependent matter only. Particularly he thinks
and participate in the activities of the manthra and entertainment due to
5th bhava, Social movements, social contacts due to the 7th bhava and so-
ciety, friends, meetings and conference due to the 11th bhava.
In this chart the planets Saturn, Rahu and Kethu are inter linked the 4, 6,
10th bhavas through its star lord and its sub lord. This person live in the
periods of these three planets, the material thinking ideology will raise and

Q. 3. Is this person live with the prestigious position?
The lagna bhava indicates one’s self prestige. If the lagna bhava inter linked
with the 8, 12th bhavas, a person can’t shine with prestigious position among
the people.
In this chart lagna bhava inter links with the 7, 11th bhavas and it is the
12th bhava to the 8, 12th bhavas. So this person will not get the disturbance
from others about his prestige position.
More over a specialty occurred in this chart because any planet didn’t con-
nect with the 8th bhava. So, all the planets in his life let him live with the
prestigious position.
Q. 4. How is his financial position?
2nd bhava indicates its own money. The money and the cash on hand will raise
day by day, when the 2nd cusp sub lord interlinked with its favorable bhavas
and this person can enjoy with money and spend the money day by day for

Answer to the 1st question:
The 3, 9th bhavas indicates the communication related with the computer
dept. These bhavas are inter linked with the 2, 4, 6, 10th bhavas, which are
favorable to the 10th bhavas, a person can earn money through the informa-
tion technology enabled services field.
In this chart, the Rahu is the sub lord of the 3, 9 bhavas and rahu is in the
Jupiter star and kethu sub. Jupiter is the 12th bhava’s sub lord and Kethu
is the sub lord of the 4, 10th bhavas. Rahu not only the sub lord of the 3,9,
but also the sub lord of the 6th bhava.
So, 3, 9 bhava sub lord(rahu) inter linked with the 4, 6, 10, 12 bhavas. The
fate is so strong because the material dependent karaka of the 4, 6, 10, 12
bhavas are inter linked with the communication related bhavas of 3, 9
bhavas. So, this person can earn much money for long period in the commu-
nication department.
Now, Rahu bhukthi in the Saturn dasa running from 10- 03- 2006 to 15- 01-
2009 and bhukthi lord rahu is the 3, 9th bhava sub lord. So,I told to this
gentleman that he will get good material benefit in the period of the Rahu
bhukti in the Saturn dasa.
This gentleman told that Sir, your all words are fully true and I am getting
good finance development in the field of the communication technology field.
From the period of the Saturn dasa Raghu bhukthi onwards. So it is the ev-
idence to prove the 3, 9 bhavas give benefit to him.
Answer to the 2nd question:
Bhukthi lord Jupiter is in the Sun star and Mars sub and sun is the 7th bhava
sub lord and Mars is the 8th bhava sub lord. The sub lord is not denying the
7th bhava’s action. The 7th bhava is the 12th bhava to the 8th bhava sub
lord. So, the sub lord (8 bhava) allows to functioning the star lord’s 7th
bhava and here the sub lord 8th bhava’s not function.
So, the bhukthi lord Jupiter is activate its star lord sun’s 7th bhava func-
tions. Jupiter is the 12th bhava sub lord. Here the 12th bhava inter linked
with the 7th bhava. So, the 7th bhava is the 8th bhavam to the 12th bhava.
Through this inter link, the 12th bhava get disturbance because of the 8th
bhava.
This person normally doing his own business. The 12th bhava indicates the
further investment. So here, the 12th bhava indicates further additional
job or to start the branch office regarding his own business (12th bhava is
the 3rd bhavam to the 10th bhava).
So, the money will get blocked due to the investment in the further job or
due to start the further branch office, in the Jupiter bhukthi period so,
better to stop or reduce the further business or start the branch office in
the Jupiter bhukthi period.

So, I gave advise to Mr.; N, S.K, that don’t invest more money in the business
in the Jupiter bhukthi period.
Answer to the 3rd question:
Dasa lord Mercury is in the star of Venus and in the sub of Rahu. But the
Mercury is the sub lord to the 6th bhava only. The Venus is the 1, 2 bhava
sub lords and the rahu is the 3, 6, 9th bhava sub lords.
The dasa lord mercury inter linked with the 1, 2, 3, 6, 9th bhavas. Among the
bhavas indications the 1, 3, 9 bhvas are being as a strong and 2, 6th bhavas
are being as a weak position.
So, Mr. N.S.K will enjoy the sole dependent karakas, with the small weak po-
sition in finance, in the Mercury Dasa period. The mercury dasa will not give
disturbance to his profession because he is doing the 3, 9th bhava karaka re-
lated profession. The mercury dasa will give down fall result, when he is re-
lated with the 4, 10th bhava karakas of related with the House, Plot, Vehicle,
etc.
The Saturn Dasa, previous dasa to Mercury dasa, has inter linked with the
4, 6, 10th bhava karakas and these are all material dependent karakas. So,
the Mercury dasa will give such less economical benefit than the Saturn
dasa.
At the same time, surely, he will get an independent position and fame due
to adopting new technology in the field of communication in the period of the
mercury dasa because the mercury has 3, 9th bhavas and other favorite
benefit is the Mercury is karaka for the same field.
His health condition will be good and the sugar related disease will not attack
him because the 4,10 bhava karakas only give the sugar related disease but
the mercury having 3,9th bhavas only. These 3,9th bhavas are 12th bhavas
to the 4,10th bhavas and it will not give the sugar disease. The 4, 10 bhavas
indicates the productivity. So in this period the body weight will not in-
crease. But the 3,9th bhavas did not do the productivity work and mercury
dasa will give more travels
He can get the such finance benefit in Kethu, Sun, Moon, Rahu and Saturn
bhukthi periods in the Mercury Dasa.
But the profession or business, monetary income will come down in the Venus,
Mars Jupiter bhukthi in the Mercury dasa period.
Answer to the 4th Question.:
Lagna bhava in general indicates one’s self thinking and 5, 9th bhavas indi-
cates the involvement in the field of the Mantra, Worship of God, and spir-
itual interest. The Jupiter is the karaga related to the spiritual matter.
A person can gets involvement in the spiritual field, 1,5,9th bhavas and
Jupiter does not indicate connection to the 4,8,12th bhavas, which is the
12th bhavas to the 1,5,9th bhavas.
Further, the running dasa also favorable connection to the 1, 5, 9th bhavas.
A person can adopt the 3 conditions above the 5 conditions, and then only he
may get the involvement in the spiritual field.
As per above reference, we will analyze this chart. Here the Lagna bhava
inter linked with the 5, 7,11th bhavas. So, the lagna bhava is favorable to ap-
proach the spiritual field. The 5 and 9th bhavas inter linked with the 4,6,10
and 4, 6, 10, 12 bhavas. (5, 9 bhava’s Fate). These inter links are unfavourable
to the spiritual approach.
The Jupiter, spiritual karaka, connected with 7th bhava and the forth com-

the surgeons which lead her near death experience but survived due to pur-
vapunya 9th lord Mercury in Ascendant and 5th lord Saturn as Bhukthi lord.
Subsequently the whole Mars major period upto 8/2006 she underwent num-

Children Speciality Corporate Hospital, Hyderabad. The viral fever was not
detected early subsequently it damaged the brain cells and became fatal.
ANALYSIS:
In the birth chart of the native the 1st sublord Rahu in Sat 7th occupant and
lord, 3rd sublord Venus Bhadhaka in Mercury star in 2nd Maraka, 8th
sublord Saturn occupant of 7th in Mars star in 2nd house indicated Balarista
(short life). 6th cusp Corulers Ju-Ve-Me (Ju conj Ma in virgo; Ve in Cancer
12th bhava as Bhadhaka; Me in Sun Leo) thus indicated Menangial virus. DBA
Ve-Sat-Me (9.6.2007 – 19.11.2007 died on 20.7.2007) Venus is a Bhadhaka
in the star Mercury occupant of 2nd house, Saturn as lord of 7th in 7th in
Mars star in 2nd, Mercury in 2nd in Venus star a Bhadhaka in 12th has given
him viral fever and admission into hospital. Doctor is 7th Saturn in Ma-Ke
(Mars l/o 4n11 in 8th rotated chart; Kethu in 4th bhava rotated agent of
Venus in 6th bhava rotated) does not promise for early detection of the
virus to the brain cells, Mercury antara (rotated Doctor’s angle l/o 6n9 in
8th bhava) lead to delay in detecting virus and consequently the boy vacated
his body without any cure for the same.
CONCLUSION: In the First Chart the native underwent an Hysterectomy
operation which was done wrongly but survived with great difficulty. Second
chart a boy with balarista and underwent treatment in a Corporate Hospital
for his viral fever which turned as fatal becaz brain involvement.

1. The rulers for cancer and brain tumor are as follows:
Cancer 1) for brain, Mercury, Aries, Moon, (1st house and Sun);
2) for brain disease and affections, Aries, Mercury (complication) and Sun;

the Ascendant lord and deposited in 7 of Cancer sign. Having no planet in its
star, Jupiter is a strong planet for 7 by occupation and 6 & 12 (hospitaliza-
tion) by being the sub lord of these cusps. Jupiter is in opposition to Saturn
in 1st house, lord of 2 and both Jupiter and Saturn aspect Venus, lord of 6,
and Rahu in 2 and agent of Jupiter, Venus and Saturn, in Pisces. The 12th
cusp sub lord is the same Jupiter. The 2, 6, 7 and 12 signification of the 6th
and 12th cusps sub lords and their connection to 1 and 8 and Moon, Mercury,
Venus, Saturn, Cancer and Pisces indicate the cancerous brain tumor. With-
out the signification of 1st house, the disease cannot be predicted. If Mars
is involved, it indicates acute, sudden, painful disease which requires opera-
tion. In some cases, Rahu can act as Saturn and Ketu as Mars, and Neptune
takes the place of Saturn or Jupiter.
3. The 8th cusp sub lord is Venus. It is in the star of Mercury in 2, lord of
7 and in the sub of Ketu in 8 and agent of Mars, Mercury and Venus. Venus
is lord of 6 and aspected by Jupiter and Saturn as discussed above. Thus the
8th cusp sub lord also points out the chronic disease.
4. The lord of Aries Mars being in conjunction with Mercury in 2, lord of 7
and Sun, lord of 8, in opposition to Moon in 8, is deemed to be connected
with the brain tumor and serious disease. In this chart, the brain is indicated
by the 1st house and Sun other than Aries sign.
5. The Ascendant sub lord Mars is in own star Mar in 2, lord of 4, 11, 12, and
in the sub of Sun in 2, lord of 8. With the 11th signification, Mars is the
best for him, long live up to present, first marriage during Mo-Ma-Me-Ma
DBAS on November 29, 1958, survival from the Chappaquiddick-incident
during Ma-Ju-Me-Ma on July 18, 1969 and to survive this incurable disease
at least till the end of Ju-Ra-Ma DBA or Jupiter Dasa, i.e. September 28,
2008, after having the brain surgery at the just beginning of Ju-Ra-Mo-Ma

1. Referring the statement in Phala Deepika (page 196) for mahadasa calcu-

one round of the Zodiac from any reference position, Guruji KSK has guided
to adopt the Solar year of 365.25 days alone for calculating the Vimshottari
365 vs 360 Dasa system, and to take 360 days a year for easy calculation of sub sub
(DBAS) dasa periods. (KP Reader I pp 96-97)
2. This length of the Solar year is in line with the following references:
days year 1) According to the present universally used Gregorian calendar, the average
year is 365.2425 days, which is applied in the SWs like KPAstro 3.0, JHora.
in the 2) The moderns take the mean length of the sidereal Solar year to be of
365.2564 days (365d-6h-9m-9.50 sec).
Vimshottari 3) In Surya Siddhanta, the length of the sideral Solar year is 365.2587 days
(365. gh 15.31.30), which is longer than the above mean length (365.2564)
Dasa by about 3m19sec only.
4) In Siddhanta Siromani, a Solar year consists of 365.2584 days (365. gh

15.30.22), which is longer than the above mean length (365.2564) by about

3. Some remarks on the 360 day year are as given under.
1) The 360 day year doesn't refer to the length of a Solar year (365.25
days) or Lunar year (360 tithis, about 354.36 solar days) and is called a
Savan year or the civil year. Nowadays it is not in use in any part of the world
except for sacrificial purposes particularly for the Soma-yajna.
2) In Surya Siddhanta, the Solar month is said to have 30.4382266 days

(30. gh 26.17.37) and the Lunar month has 29.5305833 days (29. gh 31.50.6).
The difference of 0.907643 days (gh 54.27.31) gets corrected by one inter-
calary month after every 32 months and 15.246 days. For the pure Lunar
year of about 340 days, the panchangs in India are corrected to be in line
with the solar year by adding one adhika masa every 3 years or so.
3) By taking a month of 30 days and a year of 360 days, one cannot go by the
universally used Gregorian calendar. If the 360 day year rather than the
365 day year is used for the mahadasa calculation, the gap between them
would become more divergent with the dasa period, i.e. 6.25 days (365.25-
360) after 1 year, 31.5 days (6.25x6) after 5 years, about 6 months after
35 years, a whole year after 70 years, and a native may have to celebrate
his 72 birthday even while he has yet to complete his 71st year under
Vimshottari dasa of the 365 day year.
4) The simplicity of calculation by dividing the year into months by multiply-

ing by 12 and further converting into days by multiplying of 30 in the calcu-
by lation of the dasa balance at birth and sub sub (DBAS) dasa periods (in
Tin Win Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra, Phala Deepika, Tables of Bhukti and Anthara
etc) cannot be understood as taking a 360 day year - 12 months x 30 days

rigorous calculations by taking actual days of the months and by this simple
method differ only by a few days; accurate practically for all astrological
purposes.
4. The KP astrologers and the vast, overwhelming majority of Vedic as-

trologers, except some like Sadasiva Giri, Hira Gulrajani, N. Sundara Rajan,
Rohini Ranjan, have used the regular solar year of 365 days. Since the 360
day year dasa option is already incorporated in the SWs like KPAstro 3.0,
JHora, the statistical study can be done easily to prove whether the 360 day
KP-Ezine year gives the better results. The bottom line is that one can use what works
AUGUST 2008 better for him as an individual astrologer, while simultaneously respecting
