Some Facts about Buying with T2

• Some lots at T2 are sold subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed by T2 and the consignor, below
which the lot will not be sold. The reserve will never be higher than the opening bid amount.
• Buyers are responsible for the costs of shipping and shipping insurance.
• Buyers are reminded that a premium will be added to the final bid price for each lot. This premium is equal to twenty per cent
(20%) of the hammer price. If the buyer placed both the first and last bids on the Lot (or the only bid, if only one bid was placed),
then the premium shall be reduced to eighteen percent (18%) of the hammer price.
• Purchases made in T2's New York sales by residents of New York State or purchases collected in person at T2's New York offices
will be assessed a state sales tax of 8.875% unless the purchaser presents a valid resale certificate at the time of purchase.
• Purchases made in T2's New York sales by residents of Massachusetts will be assessed a state sales tax of 6.25% unless the
purchaser presents a valid resale certificate at the time of purchase.
• Condition reports are available upon request from the T2 website.
• If there is active bidding within the last 10 minutes of a particular lot's published ending time, the ending time will automatically
extend for 15 minutes. This is done as a courtesy to the recently out-bid bidder. The ending time for this lot will continue to
extend indefinitely for as long as there is active bidding.
• Payment must be made within seven (7) days of receiving T2's invoice. Payment is accepted in any of the following: cash, check,
cashier's check, wire transfer, and credit card. Personal checks must clear before purchased lots will be released. A service fee of
3% will apply to all credit card transactions.
• Instruments and bows incorporating CITES restricted plant or animal material such as ivory and tortoiseshell may require a license
or certificate prior to exportation from the US/UK or importation to another country. It is the buyer's responsibility to obtain any
such export or import licenses and/or certificates although T2 will assist administratively in their procurement.
• T2 operates as a wholesale marketplace and as such T2 makes no warranties or representations regarding provenance,
authenticity, title, attribution, condition, value, composition or marketability of any lot. If T2 indicates that a Lot is "labeled" or
"stamped" an author, this is not a guarantee or representation of authorship.
