Summary

Effective 04-May-2009, Avaya will no longer sell the following materials associated with the
Verint/Witness offer. This is in support of a corporate initiative to reduce the number of SKUs
used in the business. The remaining codes will be used for both releases of this offer still being
sold (7.7 for adds only, and 7.8 for new, add or upgrade).
Notice was previously given on the end of sale and support of various releases. This action does
not change the previous notification.

Migration Strategy
All new sales of Verint/Witness Impact 360 packages are being sold as R7.8. The 7.8 pricing tool
and Verint sales will provide the required materials when new designs are created. 7.7 additions
will continue to be permitted, and will use the codes used for the7.8 offer which is already aligned
on pricing.

Avaya will continue to honor previously executed enhanced warranty, post-warranty and service
contracts in accordance with the terms of those agreements. Avaya is not responsible for any
support or maintenance commitments made by Business Partners or other service providers.
