THE SUPREMECOURT(CIVILPROCEDURE RULES)(AMENDMENT)
(No.2), 20 18
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Rules Committee of the Supreme Court by section
4 of the Judicature (Rules of Court) Act, the following Rules are made:-
1. These Rules may be cited as the Supreme Court (Civil Procedure Rules) (Amendment)
[(No. 2)], 2018, and shall be read and construed as one with the Civil Procedure Rules,
2002 (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Procedure Rules"), and all amendments thereto.

2. Rule 8.14 of the Civil Procedure Rules is amended by deleting the words "12 months"
wherever they appear and substituting therefor the words "6 months".
