LESSON DESCRIPTION:
There are so many different ways to use the computer today. Many students are very familiar
with computers. It is important to stress the need of it in our life but also get students to use
them for their benefits.
In this lesson students will participate in a group work exploring the text on internet in the
world today. It's very important for students to notice the good news of it.
GOALS:
- have students learn about the history of net economy
- have students learn about the need of global economy
- get students understand the main point of computers in their life
RATIONALE: - to show the students that even though they are not aware computers
have become a part of their everyday life
- students will be able to understand the need of computers
OBJECTIVES:

Give the students 5 minutes to write the answers. Let them compare the answers.
Today we are going to learn some more things on Internet and the use of computers.
There is the text in your books: www.net.com - The good news we are going
to work on.
We will work in groups, so I need 6 groups of you:

2. 21st century capitalism: Net Economy
3. Global commerce: countryroadfashins.com

Compare.Net
4. New electronic world: "Information at your fingertips"
5. Consumer culture of 21st century consumers
6. "The new economy is overtaking the existing economy as we know it."

Consult the word list of the unknown terms and if you still find unknown terms, please ask me
to put them down and explain.
Each of the group has got some questions here to explain. The others should follow and
copy whatever is written on the board.
