MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

THIS INSTRUMENT, MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, made and

entered this 30th day of August 2019 at BALINGOG EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL,
Philippines by and among.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), represented by the 69th Infantry
Battalion Commanding Officer, referred herein as ARMY; and
The DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, represented herein by head of office,
referred herein as BALINGOG EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) conceptualized the “AFP
Development Support and Security Plan “Kapayapaan” 2017-2022 for attaining the
permanent and lasting peace for the entire country and was duly signed by His Excellency
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Republic of the Philippines last January 6, 2017;
WHEREAS, the 69th Infantry Battalion, 7ID PA (69th IB, 7TH ID, PA) intends to
Adopt-a—School or have a partnership between the Community Support Program (CSP)
and the schools in the Area of Responsibility to support the endeavor of the
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION in the province of Nueva Ecija.
WHEREAS, the Bravo (HUNTERS) Coy 69th Infantry Battalion, 7th Infantry
Division, Philippine Army (BCoy, 69th IB, 7TH ID, PA) will adopt your school with the
partnership of the CSP teams.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in commitment of the foregoing premises, the parties
hereby agrees, as follows:

I. OBLIGATIONS OF THE ARMY

A. That Bravo (HUNTERS) Coy 69IB will provide Security Assistance during
activities.
B. Will provide manpower assistance in support to the School in conducting
activities.
C. Assist the and support information Education Campaign (IEC) thru:
1. Clean up drives
2. Information Awareness
 II. OBLIGATIONS OF THE SCHOOL
a) Develop good partnership and cooperation for the welfare of the school
age children and the community as well.
III. OTHER OBLIGATION
I.
The terms and conditions of this instrument may be changed, modified, or
additional stipulations may be added upon mutual agreement in writing by the parties
concerned.
III. DURATION
The Memorandum of Understanding shall be effective, upon signing and to
cover a period as agreed upon by the parties.
This Memorandum of Understanding is couched on the consensus made
upon during a meeting held on August 30, 2019 at Balingog East Elementary School.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, parties have hereunto affixed their signature this 30 th
day of August, 2019.
