Terms & Conditions :-

1) Mandap under permission shall be used for the purpose of Ganesh / Navratri Festival only. No other
use of the said Mandap is allowed.

2) No any stalls will be permitted inside or in vicinity of the Mandap.

3) The applicant shall make his own arrangement of electric supply and water supply.

4) The location, alignment and dimensions of the Mandap as permitted in this permission shall be
scrupulously followed. Any violation in the dimensions will lead to cancellation of permission.

5) The applicant should take precautions while erecting the stage / pendol abutting to the said road so
as to avoid nuisance / obstructions to public / pedestrian traffic movement.

6) The applicant / organizers shall take care that the erected pendol / stage does not cause obstruction
to the free movement of fire brigade, ambulances, BEST buses, etc.

7) The applicant shall take care of any nuisance by pendol / stage near Railway Station, Rickshaw
stand, Taxi stand, Hospital and Education Institutes, etc.

8) The applicant shall not erect pendol / stage in front of entrance gate of Hospitals, School, Railway
Stations and Bus Depots.

9) It should be seen that no inconvenience / disturbance is caused to the public at large due to
celebration of the festival. All the functional activities shall be completed before 10.00 p.m.

10) No damage shall be made to the Municipal road / footpath while erecting the Mandap. If it is
found that holes have been made on roads/footpath, the penalty of Rs.2,000/- per hole will be imposed
and recovered from the applicant. Moreover, necessary legal action as per law will be initiated against
the applicant.

11) The Mandap shall be removed by the applicant at his risk and cost immediately on the expiry of
the duration of permission granted.No extension will be given beyond the time period mentioned in
permission.

12) The applicant shall appoint traffic wardens for managing pedestrian and vehicular traffic as per
directions of concerned traffic police.

13) The applicant shall make necessary arrangements and plans to manage the crowd. The said plans
should be displayed properly at the entrance of the Mandap.

14) The applicant shall comply with the norms for sound / noise pollution as directed by the competent
authority.

15) The applicant has submitted an Undertaking for the compliance of codified fire safety requirements
which shall be completely followed. If it is found that due to non-compliance of fire safety
requirements any untoward fire incidence has happened, the applicant will be held solely responsible
for it.

16) The applicant shall maintain the area inside the Mandap and its surrounding clean. The Mandap
shall be so erected that no accumulation of water is caused giving way for breeding of mosquitoes.

17) The applicant shall obtain all the necessary permissions for the celebration of the festival on his
own.

18) The applicant shall comply with various orders / directions issued by Honorable Courts, MCGM,
local Police Station, Traffic Police Division, Environment deptt. and any other competent authority from
time to time.

19) Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

20) It is mandatory to display the photocopy of this permission at every entrance of the Mandap.

21) The Telephone Nos. of competent authorities for lodging complaints regarding noise pollution, health
related complaints, security, fire hazards shall be displayed at conspicuous places in the Mandap.

22) Following Toll Free Nos. shall be displayed in the Mandap for information of public at large to
lodge complaints.Toll Free Nos. 1292 & 1293.

23) This permission will not be considered as a precedent for the permissions to be given in future.

24) No advertisement of the goods or services which are prohibited shall be displayed in or around the
Mandap. The necessary permission from Superintendent of Licence shall be taken for display of
advertisements in or around the Mandap.

25) If any of the above terms and conditions are violated, the permission granted to erect the
temporary structure will be withdrawn.

26) MCGM reserves right of revoking permission at any time without assigning any reason thereto.

27) If the applicants / organizers violate any of the above mentioned conditions / directions, then it is
his sole responsibility to face the required action.
