I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson the Grade Eight learners are expected to:
1. Identify the different kinds of notes and rhythmic pattern.
2. Perform proper counting and rhythmic syllables of each note.
3. Apply the kinds of notes and rhythmic pattern to a Philippine folk song.

can express your ideas and feelings through songs.
However, before you can write your own song, you
must first know the notes used in music.
These musical symbols represent sounds and
silence in a musical composition.”

IV.GENERALIZATION/APPLICATION

“As our next activity, let us try to make our own version of
“Leron Leron Sinta” using improvise materials.

“I have here some improvise materials namely; coconut


shell, plastic bottles, bamboo etc.”

Directions: You are a group of an artist and you are about to


make your own version of “Sitiritit Alibangbang”. Your
performance will be rated according to the following
criteria:

Audio/Voice Quality-15
Total : 100%

VI. ASSIGNMENT

Using improvise materials, perform your own version of “Bahay Kubo” in front of the class on
the next day meeting.
