PHYSICAL WELLNESS
- Physical wellness refers, of course, to your body’s
health. It is extremely important to strive for
optimal physical wellness because the effects go
beyond your body and impact your mind, emotions and
overall well-being.

EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
- Emotional wellness pertains to your ability to
recognize, process, and express your different
emotions.  
SOCIAL WELLNESS
- The quality of your relationships and social
interactions plays a major role in your overall
health. Your ability to interact with others,
maintain meaningful and healthy relationships, feel
connected to people you care about, and contribute
to the well-being of other people make up the
components of your social wellness.
INTELLECTUAL WELLNESS

SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
- Your spiritual well-being doesn’t have to rely on
religion or a god, but it can. Ultimately, it’s
about having a core set of principles or values that
you look to for moral and spiritual structure and
guidance

- It’s important for you to do your best to make the
world a better place. Improving the planet and the
lives of others also make you feel better and
improve your well-being.
OCCUPATIONAL WELLNESS

Skill-Related Fitness
- Skill-related fitness involves the components of
Physical fitness that relate to enhanced performance
in sports and motor skills. The components commonly
include agility, balance, coordination, power speed
and reaction time. Visual tracking may also be
considered.

AGILITY
- It is a skill related component of physical fitness
that pertains to the ability to rapidly change
the position of the entire body in space with
speed and accuracy.

BALANCE
- The ability to keep an upright posture while
standing still or moving.
o Static Balance - The ability to maintain
one’s equilibrium in a fixed position.
o Dynamic Balance - The ability to maintain
one’s equilibrium while the body is in
motion

COORDINATION
- It is a skill-related component of physical fitness
that refers to the ability to use the senses as
sight and hearing, together with other body
parts in performing motor tasks smoothly and
accurately.

POWER
- It refers to the rate at which one can perform work.
Power is considered to be a combination of strength
and speed. It is also defined as the ability to
exert muscle force quickly. For this reason,
power is a combination of skill and health-related
physical fitness.

REACTION TIME
- The ability to react or respond quickly to
what you hear, see, or feel. It is a skill
related component of physical fitness that refers to
the time elapsed between stimulation and beginning
of the reaction to it.

- It is a skill related component of physical fitness
that refers to the ability to perform a
movement within a short period of time.

- Background Stressor – Routinary, daily lifestyle
SITUATIONAL STRESSOR – Events that arise from a variety
of situation that happens within the person’s everyday
life
- Physical Stressor – Physically uncomfortable
- Emotional Stressor – Disturb, upsetting emotion
- Intellectual Stressor – Affect the ability to think
- Social Stressor – Coming from the society
- Spiritual Stressor – Conflicts between moral and
ethical beliefs

Adaptation to Stress
- Alarm Reaction – Immediate response to stress
- Resistance Stage – Attempts to adapt the stressor
- Exhaustion Stage – The body resources became worn
out
