Dear Mayor:

Relative to the upcoming conduct of Synchronized Barangay and Sangguniang

Kabataan (SK) Elections, a mandatory training will be facilitated by this department
which is a pre-requisite for the SK Officials prior to assumption to office. Also, this is
in accordance to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as
the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015”.

Significantly, this training shall capacitate and equip the SK Officials with
necessary skills in performing their roles and functions towards youth empowerment
and nation-building.

For the Municipality of Pura, the scheduled date for said training was
rescheduled on May 23, 2018 from 8am-5pm. Kindly refer to the attached
Memorandum and Training Schedule on the specific venue provided for the
participants thereof.

Further, we enjoin your valuable presence during the Oath Taking Ceremony
to be held at 4:30pm on the same day.

For this purpose, please advise your respective Punong Barangays on the
abovementioned training schedule and likewise remind them to settle ASAP to the
Tarlac State University (TSU) the payment of Registration Fees amounting to
PhP1,600 per SK training participant preferably through a check named after the TSU.

Meanwhile, the transportation allowance of participants may be charged to

the barangay or SK funds, further subject to usual accounting and auditing rules.

Your prompt action on the matter is highly anticipated.

Attached is the SK Mandatory Training Schedule for the Province of Tarlac slated on
the following dates with corresponding no. of schools assigned for each date:

• May 17 - 2 schools
• May 18 - 2 schools
• May 19 - 2 schools
• May 21 - 5 schools
• May 22 - 5 schools
• May 23 - 5 schools
• May 24 - 5 schools
• May 25 - 3 schools
• May 26 - 3 schools

Primarily, the attendance of your SK Chairmen and Kagawads is mandatory and a

prerequisite prior to their assumption to office.

Anent to this, please remind all concerned barangays within your AOR to
immediately pay the registration fees of Php 1,600.00 per participant to TSU preferably in
check. Kindly disregard if the payment has been settled already.

Likewise, please ensure the presence of your Local Chief Executives during the Oath
Taking Ceremonies which will be held every 4:30 in the afternoon of their scheduled date.
