Mouse, Touchpad, and Touchscreen Instruction and Practice
1. How to Using a Mouse
A. Moving the Cursor
 Mouse, how to use mouse is put your hand to the mouse and try
to move it to direction you want.
 Trackball, This is can be in left side of the mouse or on top of
the mouse. How to use is just scrolling that ball to any direction
and that will move the cursor.
 Touchpad/Touchscreen, drag your finger to direction you want.
 Eraserhead, how to use it just push it to the direction you want.
 Graphics tablet, All you need just touch the pad then drag into
desired direction.

B. Button and Scroll Wheels

 Left button is used to selects, open document, and launch the
program.
 Right button is used to display shortcut menu.
 Scrool wheel is used to roll up and down the page.
 Tilt wheel is used to roll left and right the page.

C. Click and Drag

 There is two ways to clicked and that is will working in different
actions.
a. Single click, this is for select and release.
b. Double click, this is used for open or launch the program.
There is a different action if we double click the mouse with
time paused. It’s mean when you click the first click, you just
put a little time before the second click. It will be action to
change data’s name.

We also can change the setting of the mouse. In windows 10, we can click the
window’s icon and then click the icon setting. You will see device setting, click
that and then configuration mouse.
2. Touchpad and Touchscreen
A. Multifinger Gestures
 Two fingers scrolling, use two finger in the touchpad and scroll it to
up, down, left, and right the document.
 Pinch, do spinch to the touchpad for zoom in or out use antipinch to
a picture or document.
 Rotating, use two finger or one finger (start from down left then
form a circle) use to rotate clockwise or anticlockwise for a picture.
 Three finger press, it is used for open the file explorer in windows.

B. Scrolling
We can use scrolling with one finger at the touchpad to read a long
dokumen or a website.

C. Pointing
Move your finger on touchpad to direction do you want.

D. Tapping
 One finger tap, to select or deselect data.
 Two fingers tap, to show shortcut menu seems like right click in
mouse.
 Three fingers tap, in windows 10 it is to open search box/Cortana.
Drag software by click to the software icon, and then click and
hold touchpad click, now you can move the cursor and see the
software is moving too.

3. How do Touchscreen work?

Touchscreen has three main layers that using to display and take the input
command from user. The three layers are:

1) Chemically Toughned Glass.

This is a protective glass that protect the screen from scratcher and most
falls. The reason why glass that using is because if using a plastic, it can be
scratcher more easily although you save it in your pocket. The glass that
used for smartphone is five times more stronger than normal glass. It is
because chemical that used for smartphone glass is absorb an atom form
potassium.
 2) Projected Capacitive Touchscreen.
This part of smartphone touchscreen that makes smartphone response a
touch by user. There are two transparant diamond pattern that have a bunch
of electron that makes sense an human’s finger.

3) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) or Organic Light Emmiting Diode (OLED).

LCD is not commonly used again in the newest generation of smartphone
because OLED is can produce and displaying a lot of colour than LCD. LCD
working by blocking a light rather than emmiting it. OLED emmiting the
color by using a more or less 10 million pixels in your smartphone that
pixels color is red, green and blue.

Keyboard Instruction and Practice

1. Keyboard Technique
A. Keyboard Parts
 Every each type of keyboard can be different from another.
 Symbol and alphanumeric keys.
 Standart keys is a navigation, shift, caps lock, windows key, alt, esc,
backspace, enter, space, and many more.
 Function keys, this is all keysin the top of keybard. That symbol is F1
to F12.
 On generally keyboard for PC, it has 10-keypad numeric entry.
 And last there is a special media keys on laptop’s keyboard.

B. Technique
 Press the key that you want to type, like alphabet keys.
 Press SHIFT key then hold it while you type an alphabet keys, it will
change to a symbol.
 Special key combination, it do with press three or two keys at the
same time for input the command more fast than using a mouse.
 Use home and end key to move faster from first sentence to end the
sentence in a row.
 Use Esc to close the program.

C. Special Key Combination

 Windows+CTRL+D = to clean up the desktop.
 CTRL+windows+F4 = for close virtual windows.
 Windows key + M = to the desktop.
  Windows + arrow key = open split screen.
 CTRL+ALT+TAB = open task program.
 CTRL + SHIFT + Esc = force close a program.
 Windows key + E = open file explorer.
 Windows key + Plus or minus = for zoom in or out.
 Windows + print screen = screenshot.
 Windows key + A = for open notification.
 Windows + C = open Cortana.
 Windows + G = open game bar.

Introduction to Hardware
1. Computer Basics Hardware.
a) SATA Cable, it is used for connecting storage device.
b) Power Suply, for give or supllied electricity that before is changes
from AC to DC.
c) Hard drive, is for saving digital data.
d) CD/DVD Drive, the function is for read data from cd.
e) Random Access Memory, is a place to saving data temporarely.
f) Peripheral Component Interconnect, this is for added more peripheral
that installed on motherboard yet.
g) Motherboard, the main function of motherboard is for connecting one
hardware to another.
h) Processor, this component function is for precessing all data that
receive from input command, and that will be passed on to be output.

Smartphone Basics
1. Android Guide.
The first thing you gonna do is turn on the smartphone by press and hold power
button in the side or top of your phone. When your phone is on, you must do is
unlock your homescreen. It can be different ways to do that depend on what
smartphone do you have. Commonly swipe up the screen is how to unlock that.

Homescreen of smartphone is seems like desktop on computer. It show up few of

application that installed in that smartphone. You can change the display of
homescreen by press menu in the bottom and click setting.

If you want to installed another application what you want. You can go to
playstore or appstore. In there, so many application you can choose to upgrade
your day. Click application you want, and then choose installed then wait for the
program installed in your smartphone.

2. Cell Phone Repair Basic

For repair the cell phone, we need few tools for cell phone. The tools is like
solder iron, solder wire, blade cutter, point cutter, precision screwdriver, ect.
Main repairs: Screen
Steps:
1) Open smartphone, Prize the phone apart using the levers and plectrum;
additional screws will need removing, too.
2) Remove the screen, Leave the cell phone iin warm place, it can essier to
peeling the screen from the body of phone.
3) Replace the adhesive from phone, cut it into 1 mm and then apply the
adhesive to the phone.
4) After adhesive is glue perfectly, now put the new screen into the frame. Don’t
put a pressure on the middle of glass display, it can break.
5) Last ensure correct cable connection. Then test the phone to check it works.
