SUBJECT: Countermeasures Against Pulling-off of Rubber Hose Between Turbocharger Compressor Cover
and Air Inlet Duct
1. Purpose
The hose clamp on rubber hose between the turbocharger compressor cover and air inlet duct for S6M3F and S6M3H
engines is changed to a reinforced one as countermeasures against hose pulling-off.

Rubber hose 【New】 Hose clamps 3 pcs Tightening torque of new clamp：
Air intake duct 8.0（80）N・m (kgf・cm)

Compressor cover

（New）

Use new clamps:

one on the compressor cover side,
and two on the air duct side.

Rubber hose 【Old】 Hose clamps 4 pcs Tightening torque of old clamp：
Air intake duct 6.0（60）N・m (kgf・cm)

Compressor cover

（Old）

Old clamps were used:

one on the compressor cover side, two on the
air duct side, and one at the connector (to
prevent the hose from bulging).
