1.0 INTRODUCTION

This proposal is to ask permission from the Director of Kolej Vokasional

Nibong Tebal for team building session in Sedim Nature Park, Kulim, Kedah.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

The objective of this programme are as follows :

i. Discover effective ways to get accomplish task by cooperating with other

team members.
ii. Discover what they can accomplish by effective delegation.

3.0 DATE / DAY

The tentative day for the Team Building activity is from 15 July 2018 to
17 July 2018 which is on Friday to Sunday.

4.0 TARGET GROUP

The target group for the Team Building session is the students of Junior
Cadet School Unit.

10.0 REPORT OF THE TEAM BUILDING PROGRAMME

Date : 24 JULY 2018

Report on a Team Building Programme

The student of Junior Cadet School Unit to part in Team Building activity recently.
The activity was held on 15 JULY 2018 for 3 days. The place where this activity took place
was in Sedim Nature Park, Kulim, Kedah.

The number of students who participated in the activity wa a total of 20. It was
compulsory that all the students in this unit participate as part of a development programme
to prepare them for the working world and to meet the challenges of the future. 3 lecturers
attended this programme. They were EN AYUB BIN ISHAK, EN RIDZUAN BIN AHMAD, EN
MAHD RADZI BIN OSMAN.

One of the objectives of this Team Building activity was discover effective ways to get
accomplish task by cooperating with other team members. As many of the students would
graduate soon, it was important that they would be exposed to the second objective which
was discover what they can accomplish by effective delegation. These two objectives were
quickly learnt by these young men and women.

Among the activities was Ice Breaking. This was enjoyed by all especially those who
had to learn to overcome their fear of heights depend on Butterfly Cross, Puncher Drum,
Acid River, Enhancing Communication Skills and Effective Listening. Through these two
activities, many of the student had to overcome any trust issues and to work together get
the team building spirit going.

At the end of the activity, the students were exhausted but happy. They gained a lot
from this programme and among the benefits were Increase motivation and Positive
Reinforcement. Many agreed it was a good experience and on that would be a stepping
board in facing the challenges in their lives.

11.0 ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Semester 4 : English for Specific Purposes requires the students of produce a
proposal of a Team Building programme. The task has been given by my lecturer and was
discussed in detail.

Individually, I have done my best in order to achieve high marks for Continuous
Assessment for this semester. I am aware that this effort will help me in the Final
Assessment.

I highly thank PN SHULAILY BINTI MUHAMAD SALIH for helping and guiding me
throughout the process of completing the Course Assignment.

Without the moral support by my parents, MOHD IZHAR BIN OMAR and ASFARIZA
BINTI OTHMAN, I would not be able to cope and complete this task.

I would like to thank my friends AIMIN NAJMAL BIN ABU BAKAR and MUHAMMAD
IKMAL HARIS BIN MOHD TARMIZI who have helped in giving and sharing brilliants ideas
