 Reading – Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. Write down the title
of the book and answer this question: What is your favorite part of the
story? Why is it your favorite part?
 Word Study – Write a sentence for each sight word (1-5). Underline the
word in the sentence.

Tuesday
 Math -- Solve this problem:
o Three bunnies sat on the grass. Two more bunnies hopped there.
How many bunnies are on the grass now? (Write a number sentence
and draw a picture to show your work.)
 Reading – Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. Write down the title
of the book and answer this question: What is your favorite part of the
story? Why is it your favorite part?
 Word Study – Practice saying hard sounds (6-13). Write 1 word using each
of the hard sounds. For example, for “b” write “bat” or “ball”.
Wednesday

 Math -- Solve this problem:

o Julia has 4 books on the table. She puts 1 more book on the table.
Then she puts 2 more books on the table. How many books are on
the table? (Write a number sentence and draw a picture to show
your work.)

 Reading – Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. Write down the title
of the book and answer this question: Look at a picture in your book. What
is happening in the picture? What did you learn from it?
 Word Study – Practice saying soft sounds (14-20). Write 1 word using each
of the soft sounds. For example, for “c” write “city” or “cell”.

Thursday

 Math -- Solve this problem:

o There are 3 brown dogs. There is 1 white dog. How many dogs are
there? (Write a number sentence and draw a picture to show your
work.)
 Reading – Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. Write down the title
of the book and answer this question: Look at a picture in your book. What
is happening in the picture? What did you learn from it?

Friday

 Math -- Solve this problem:

o There are 5 black butterflies and 2 white butterflies. How many
butterflies are there? (Write a number sentence and draw a picture
to show your work.)
 Reading – Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes. Write down the title
of the book and answer this question: What is your favorite part of the
story? Why is it your favorite part?
