presentation.
 Each group will be given 10 seconds to answer the projected scrambled word every
round and the group with correct answer will be given 2 points.

B. Engage (5 minutes)
 For activity 2. “What’s next?”, the students will form a big and a paper cabbage will be
passed while singing bahay kubo.
 The last student holding the cabbage when the song ends will peel off a leaf and read the
question loudly and after that he/she will answer it.

C. Explore (10 minutes)

 Using the same groupings from the first activity, let the students do the Activity 3
“Describe Me.”
 Each group will pick a strip of paper with different words prepared by the teacher.
 The students will define the word and give an example.
 Their output will be written in a manila paper.

6. Order Arrangement

D. Explain (15 mins)

 Every group will choose a representative to present their output and will be given 1
minute to report.
 After the group has reported, other groups will be asked to give comments based on the
presentation.

E. Elaborate (5 mins)
 The teacher will another example: 15, 11, 7, 3, ______
Guide Questions:
1. What is the next number?
2. How did you get the next number?
3. If I will change the rule by subtracting 3 from the first term, what will be the new
sequence?
4. What if I will multiply the first term by 2, what will be the 2nd and 3rd term?
