For someone who growth in developing Asia countries like Indonesia, an opportunity to feel the

international exposure could supremely propel his life into better. It can construct him into a
globally-minded person in a culturally diverse environment, which is undoubtedly worthwhile to
face high competition in today's globally challenge. With the same hope, I intrigued to continue
my study in Master Degree of Petroleum Geoscience program at Imperial College London. By
taking that program at this world-class university, hopefully, it will polish me up as a “prospective”
petroleum-geoscientist with comprehensive knowledge. By knowing that the Imperial College
London has a profoundly well-respected with the education quality, my ultimate goals to help the
sovereignty of Indonesia through oil and gas energy could be achieved. My vision is simple, to
double up the oil and gas discoveries with some advanced methods of geoscience. But the
mission is not as simple as I just read and applicate it from some papers and books which tell me
all about that. I have to conduct a direct collaboration, knowledge transfer, and tight research with
many petroleum geoscientist expertise around the world, to make sure that every learned
advanced apparatus of my profession could be applied to fulfill my vision toward Indonesia.
Basically I have already got the LoA from Imperial College London for Petroleum Geoscience in
Master Program for Autumn 2019 intake in January 2019. Unfortunately, I have deferred my
application into next year due to the financial problem. The main problem of my application for
2019 enrollment is I kind of too late to consider my study in master program. I was about prepared
my application start in December 2018 (and just got my ielts score at the end of February 2019)
which exactly too late for applying some scholarships like LPDP, Chevening, the university
financial aid program, and many more. To be honestly, I was really disappointed with myself at
that time. Knowing that my age is continuing being counted every day, I have to consider myself
wisely with two things (work or continue the study). After all of that, my friend advised me to check
the “Indonesia Mengglobal” website and join the mentorship program. After delving more about
your program, and all the success stories that some people got after joined the mentorship, I really
want to be part of this program. I need someone who could guide me rightly and push me hardly
to help me create the real contribution for Indonesia. Considering about some of my problems in
applying for scholarship opportunity, I still need an assistance to create a well-structure-word for
my motivation letter, and well-structure-statement in the interview session that might always
related to “what Indonesia needed and why me”. But for the technical thing that related to my
profession as a geoscientist, gratefully I relatively confidence with all kind of scientific explanations
and questions, plus I already made my study orientation and the thesis proposal for the Master
