AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

I, RAFFY SANTOS y MARIANO, of legal age, Filipino and a resident of #1 Tagumpay Street,
Sindalan, City of San Fernando after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and
say:

1. That I am the private complainant in the Criminal Case No. 10617 entitled “PEOPLE
OF THE PHILIPPINES vs. PAULO GONZALES y MENESES" for RECKLESS
IMPRUDENCE RESULTING TO DAMAGE TO PROPERTY and SERIOUS
PHYSICAL INJURY pending before the Municipal Trial Court of Angeles City,
Philippines;

2. That after several conferences with the accused, I have come to forgive him since he
attended to my financial needs during my operation and confinement in the hospital;

3. That the accused delivered to me in cash the amount of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS
or PHP 5,000.00 for additional financial aid;

4. That I would like to manifest that I am no longer interested in the prosecution of the
aforementioned criminal case and I am respectfully informing the Public Prosecutor
that I am withdrawing my complaint against the accused.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this September 2, 2019 at City of Angeles,
