A ROBOT

A robot is a programmable machine that can manipulate objects and perform operations that previously
could only perform humans.

The component parts of a robot are: the skeleton or chassis of the robot. It shapes and supports the other
parts.

Mechanisms
Are the elements that allow the transmission of movement between parts.
Turning movements, scrolling.
For example gears, pulleys, belts, wheels, etc.

Energy sources: which can be electricity, batteries and mechanical energy, which is delivered to the robot
by the engine.

The motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy

The control elements: Are the elements that control the robot's actions, there are different models.

Sensors: Are the elements that provide information to the robot so that it can meet the external situation.
For example, touch sensors, light, temperature, etc.

The programing: The program (software) tells the control element to do. There are several programming
languages

Un robot es una máquina programable que puede manipular objetos y realizar operaciones
que antes sólo podían realizar los seres humanos.

Las partes que componen un robot son:

el esqueleto o chasis del robot. Le da forma y sostiene al resto de las partes.

Los mecanismos

Son los elementos que permiten transmitir el movimiento entre sus partes. Los movimientos
de giro, de desplazamiento.

Por ejemplo los engranajes, las poleas, las correas, las ruedas, etc.

Las fuentes de energía

que puede ser la energía eléctrica, baterías y la energía mecánica, que es entregada al robot
por el motor.

El motor convierte energía eléctrica en energía mecánica

Los elementos de control:

Son los elementos que permiten controlar las acciones del robot, existen diferentes modelos.

Los sensores:

Son los elementos que le entregan información al robot para que éste pueda conocer la
situación exterior.

Por ejemplo sensores de tacto, de luz, de temperatura, etc.

La programación:

El programa (software) le indica al elemento de control que debe hacer. Existen varios
lenguajes de programación.
