INTRO
This catalogue showcases the creative talents of students from the Graphic
Design, Animation & Motion Graphics, Film & TV and Sound Engineering at
Africa Digital Media Institute.

The term “GLITCH”, perfectly exemplifies the culture, work ethic and desire
to disrupt the market, and define their own special style and expression.
Their time here has been a challenging yet the students rise to the
challenge, working on college projects, competitions and with real-life clients.
This in turn has allowed for new skills to be learned, especially working in
groups and adhering to strict deadlines.

The range of projects and quality of creative execution displayed is a

testament to the training and support they have received from their
Lecturers. It is also a testament to each student here who strive to define
and refine their own creative approach and personal visual style.

Finally, I want to congratulate all the students from this semester for their
hard work, commitment and willingness to push themselves creatively
throughout their time here at ADMI. I wish them well in their future careers
and I’m excited to see what they come up with next.

MAPPING
DESCRIPTION:
Projection mapping is the technique of using a projectors’ light to map it
onto any surface, turning common objects of any 3D shape into interactive
displays.

The Animation and Graphic Design students have used the constructed
surface to project their artworks and animated graphics creating an
interactive showcase.
