General Evaluator Script

Hello Everyone!

I am the general evaluator for today’s meeting. In my role I would evaluate everything good or bad
that takes place during the club meeting. In addition, the General Evaluator conducts the evaluation
round of the meeting and is responsible for the evaluation team: the speech evaluators, Ah
Counter, Grammarian, and Timer. I would like to introduce my team of supplementary role players:

It is important to get your message across in the allowed time, and for the meeting to run according to
schedule. To achieve this we have the Timer. I would like timer to describe his/her role from their desk.
When you speak in a Toastmasters session, Grammarian keeps a track of the good and not so good
usage of English throughout the session. I would like the Grammarian to describe his/her role from their
desk.
We use verbal pauses such as ah’s and um’s while we think of the next thing to say. The Ah counter will
keep track of the use of those verbal pauses. I would like the timer to describe his/her role from their
desk.

I would like to remind everyone to refrain from using mobile phone during the meeting and avoid using
words related to Sex, Religion and Politics.
