 Study the reading habits of customers & section read the

 Factors influencing buying newspapers.

Process
 Went through the detailed performance of Business Standard
Newspaper Ltd. In comparison to its competitors.
 Identify our major customers in the newspaper segment.
 Made a general visit to some venue of customers to
understand the parameters that help them to buy a
newspaper.
 Made a questionnaire on the response received with
questions revolving around parameters like products, their
performance and the services offered.
 Visited the branches and met with Managers to get the
questionnaire answered

Methodology  Information about the customers was collected from the


company database, from yellow pages and from the local
vendors.
 Identifying the major customers in the market.
 Visiting the customers to understand the buying behavior of
the customers.
 Making questionnaire.
 Selecting a sample size.
 Revisiting customers to get the questionnaire answered.
 Data collection and analysis on the feedback received.

 Content of the newspaper is the most influential factor in
buying of the newspaper.
 Newspapers help customers in order to make decision.
